55Lots of fun sniffs, loved the creek. Trails were easily followed. It was a little muddy on the dogs but to be expected at this time of year and weather. may want to wear boots but not to bad! We will definitely be back. Danielle W.

55Lori and Steve have a beautiful piece of land! The trails are nicely maintained and easy to follow. Our dog had a great time running around and exploring. Steve gave us a great overview of everything when we arrived, and even provided bug spray, sunscreen, toys, and water for our dog. We will definitely be returning!Morgan J.

55Really great space! Features woods and an open field area. The trails were awesome and very well maintained. It’s a nice private area to let your dogs do their thing. Has a fence all the way around about 4 ft high so felt very secure. Elise O.

55Stopped here with my reactive pup twice—once on the way from Chicago to Minneapolis and once on the way back. It was such a beautiful piece of land and my pup had SO much fun. She was so happy! She chased a bunny and a turkey! Definitely worth the trek off the interstate and the money. Owners were very kind and helpful. If you have a very reactive dog, be aware the owners do run a kennel on the property and you may have some dogs barking. It only happened once when we were there the first time, and only as we were leaving, but wanted others to be aware. The rest of the time was quiet and peaceful and such a treat! Definitely recommend.Megan H.

55On a recommendation for our trainer, my wife and I took our dog, Princess, here so she could run around with no worries. It was a great experience for all of us. The setting is beautiful, in the countryside about 25 miles south of Eau Claire (so it does take a bit of effort to get here). The drive is worth it, though. A large open field, flanked by stands of trees, which gave Princess plenty of room to run and explore. It can be a bit difficult in the snow, although snowmobile tracks create a bit of a groomed trail so we didn't have to wade through the snow to keep up with Princess. The trip accomplished out goal of giving our dog some uninhibited exercise, and she ran herself ragged. We definitely will return and would recommend to anyone who has an active dog who needs some room to romp around and explore. Tim R.

55Really enjoyed our visit! It was great to be able to let my dogs out of the car and explore with them without worrying about running into other people or dogs. The kennel dogs will bark when you are near the entrance to the spot, but otherwise they are quiet and the property is peaceful - there is plenty of room to roam. We will be back!Mary P.

55We had such a great day today at this Sniff Spot. It's our fifth time here; first time in the snow. So pretty and such good exercise for Kya! And the little sleigh is an outstanding setting for photos! I so appreciate that the property is fenced all around.Stephanie J.

55This is a wonderful place for my dog to run without his harness and muzzle on. He has a bite history so his social life is limited to humans only at the moment. Really grateful for this place! ♥️Sandy M.

55We drive 2 hours from the Twin Cities to visit this Sniffspot. This was our second visit. My dogs wear GPS collars because they can jump fences easily, but this space is so big and open they have plenty of room to run. They love coming here and I love watching them run together. My old man can't go to dog parks and is dog selective, so this is a treat for him to run and explore without unknown dogs.Mary P.

55It's fully enclosed with a great combination of open space, tall grass sections, and wooded area. There are dogs in kennels near by that were great for us to do some training on desensitizing Ellie by edging her away and easing her back closer. It was easy to let Ellie off leash and she was very stoked to be able to just roam free as we walked the acreage. She just had exuded happiness and confidence. It was a great experience for us.Nick W.

55I loved this property! It's a great size for a few loops in 2 hrs. Such a comfort that it's completely fenced and so nice to have a mix of woods and open space (would be awesome for epic retrieve games). As the property owner notes, their vizslas will be barking when you are near the entrance; they were completely out of view, though, and not in danger of interacting with your dog. Depending on where you're at with work on reactivity this could be a great opportunity for safe exposure or a problem.Stephanie J.

55This was my second time visiting this space, so I'm not sure if I'm supposed to review again. But it's just a perfect space for my dog. I took off of work on the expected last warm sunny day of the season to enjoy a comfortable walk, and it was absolutely perfect. So worth a trek from Minneapolis.Stephanie J.

55Great place! Wide open in the center of the land for sprinting and bounding through tall grass. Wooded on the edges with trails, sniffs, and trees to jump. Highly recommend - we'll be back!Erin H.

FAQ about our Osseo dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Osseo area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 13 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 3 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
