***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** **Current spring conditions are wet and muddy - towels are provided to wipe down dogs** Welcome! This is a private rental, when you book you are the only one in the space. We have three areas for you to enjoy, all are fully fenced and are included in the rental price. We have a fully fenced acre of woods with a trail that goes through to explore. It is accessed through the gate in the backyard. We also have a front yard and deep backyard, great for running, fetch and recall training. The yard is 1.5 acres and also fully fenced. During the summer you have access to two seating areas including a picnic table, gazebo for shade (seasonally) a 30 foot tether is also available if you would like to have your dog stay beside you while you relax. During the winter, paths are plowed in both yards and in the woods within 3-5 hours of a significant snowfall. Hard packed snow and mild weather can create icy sections on the property, we put down sand and pet safe ice melt on the trails to help. Feel free to contact us for trail conditions before booking. All dog breeds welcome, reactive dogs welcome.

NOTE: All prices are in USD Get unleashed, enjoy the great outdoors! Located just a short drive south of the city. We have plenty of space to let your dog run, play, and explore. From open fields, trails, forests, and a pond, there is no shortage of exciting things for your dog to discover. You may even see some deer or wild turkeys during your visit. All dogs welcome! The property is not fenced, but there is plenty of off leash space. If you are unsure and would like to borrow an 15 foot lead, we can lend one to you.

Our Sniffspot is our backyard (attached to the house), which is about 1.5 acres of mostly open lawn... great for playing fetch or running at top speed! It is securely fenced with 5' fencing. There is seating, gazebo for shade, dog toys, and agility equipment and a dog pool in the summer. In the winter there are plowed paths. A separate, 8 acre fenced field with walking paths is also available. All breeds are welcome. Reactive dogs welcome. ***Charges are in USD*** This is a 1.5 acre field that is perfect for off-leash and distraction free time with your dogs! This space provides apt enrichment for dogs of all ages. The space offers a combination of grassy fields, small wooded area, and a small pond for dogs to run and explore. There is a seating area and garbage bin for owners to use. This Sniffspot provides your dog the opportunity to just be a dog! When you book a visit you will be the only person on the property, so there is no risk of distractions caused by other people or animals. Please park in front of the big gates and enter the park through the green gate to the left. If you have a new pup that is having recall problems, or you have a reactive dog, this is a perfect stress-free environment for them to enjoy. They will be able to run and play without risk of getting too far, or seeing another dog. We also offer an assortment of agility equipment. Please set it up and return it near the trees at the end of your visit. We offer a discount to anyone with foster dogs, please reach out for details. Please note that the app uses USD, so expect a 30% increase due to the exchange rate. There are some burrs on the hill under the trees. Happy Hideaway - 3 Acre Private Dog Park In Russell

It sits on part of my property that offers paths to roam and discover, as well as water holes that are found mostly in the spring and fall, and dry up in the summer months. There is a beautiful changing foliage, wild flowers, small trees and birds. It is unfenced, however, there are paths that are closer inland and away from the road.

This place is so great! Our dogs had a fantastic time and are so tired from running around. The back yard is nice and long for playing with the chuck it or a frisbee and the wooded area was great for sniffing and adventures. Host is great, got everything set up and sent a message the morning of to make sure I knew how to get in etc. and even put out a kiddie pool for the dogs to use because it was so hot. I would for sure go again.

Great space! The little fenced in trail was very fun to explore. I was a little nervous about how my dog would react to the chickens and ducks that are visible from the yard, but it turned out to be a great training opportunity for us and after a couple minutes my pup wasn’t interested in them anymore.

The property is beautifully kept with very easy access. The gates were easy to close/open and to latch/unlatch. The back yard was large, shady and clean. Having access to both a picnic table and a gazebo for the people was a nice touch and having fresh water and a clean bowl for the dogs was also nice. I did not explore “The Woods” because of time but what could see looked nice with well managed trails.

A great property for dogs. They fully enjoyed themselves. We didn't bring a ball with us because we thought we'd spend all our time in the woods, but I can see that playing fetch in the yard portion would have added to our already excellent experience. Besides that, I can say that it was fully fenced and clean. Let's just say I didn't have to watch what I was walking in.

Stop searching the app! This was such a good experience with my reactive/flight risk dog. I was worried about the chickens but they are safe behind two layers of fencing. The yards were amazing!!! It was so nice to let my dog just be a dog.

Is a super great space! The dogs could zoom off the bat since the whole thing is fully fenced once you close the gate at the driveway. Towels and fresh water were left for us too, which was great. Definitely needed as unfortunately it's quite muddy right now due to the wet weather. Nice thick woods to place hide and seek recall games too.

Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
