Huge! So many little trails to explore, scents to follow, and well maintained. My Greyhound/Border Collie was TIRED!
Caveat: must have a rock solid recall. The river is close to a road.

We were a little confused locating the river trail because we were hesitant to go any closer to the busy road. Owner was very responsive and got us going in the right direction immediately. The field is mowed around the circumference, the dogs ran around like lunatics and seemingly loved every second! Success! Very tired, very happy pups 🐶

My pups had a fantastic time today. Love that the trail is groomed! At first we had a hard time finding the location but we arrived on time. Definitely going back for another adventure!

Beautiful spot! My dog loved playing in the water and sniffing around in the grass. The field area was also very nice and looked like a great place to play but we went at a hot and sunny time so we stayed more in the shade of the trees and near the water. We saw a few kayakers quietly going by on the river. Lots of good sniffs!

awesome spot! The dogs had a BLAST. It was nice and private, very peaceful. The back land was definitely a touch overgrown so be sure to wear closed toed shoes (my mistake - hoping I didn’t get poison ivy!) and long pants :) we didn’t get any ticks though!! The river trail was pretty good, the dogs splashed right in. As a human don’t expect to get wet though because it’s hard to access for us! The dogs were able to jump in and out easily from the ledge :)

Our dogs had a great time. They love playing in water, the water was a little hard to get to for us hoomans. However the dogs had no problem getting down and up, my younger pup even swam in the water after a kayak which the people loved. We are grateful for this opportunity and what people are doing like this. Thank you

We had a blast! We couldn't quite find the path to the creek at first, but once we did the dogs loved that! Water was a little low but this will be a great spot for us come summer!

Our second time back and we loved it just the same!! Both dogs loved to romp around the fields and even made it down to the river to play in. Just a great space for both humans and pups to relax. The natural barriers the woods provides me a peace of mind while we are out exploring!!

My dog rex loves this property. The owners description is dead on. I would trust dogs far less responsive to commands here as the natural borders keep them from any danger.

Kerrie responded to my questions very quickly. They had a trail mowed into the field. The property was beautiful. My Golden Retriever was totally undeterred by the train some others have referenced. My only wish- I wish we had access to the wooded areas. None the less, my dog was ecstatic with all the scents. Thanks for providing the space for dog freedom, Kerrie!

This spot was clean and wide open. The dogs could run around and you could keep an eye on them every step of the way. Inside the gazebo there was a container of water, toys, and treats. My dogs were exhausted after 30 mins of walking are kind and playing. I kept them going for another 30 though and they are now taking the biggest nap. Great spot.

My pups had a great time here! There’s a nice clear path around the property. We ventured down to the river, but it was a pretty steep drop into the water so only one of my dogs was brave enough to hop it. My dogs are all good off leash, but I’d definitely plan to bring a long line with you if that isn’t the case for your own dog!

It was a good spot with nice natural barriers to serve as discouragement from wandering off, not suitable off leash if a dog is going to just take off but worked very well for us and was as described!

Loved this spot! It’s close to home and we’ll kept. Lots of sniff spots for my pug to explore. Shady spots for dogs and aesthetic spots for the humans. Next time, I’ll bring a chair and enjoy the scenery while my dog explores!! Thanks LouAnn!

What other types of private dog parks are available?
Fully fenced dog parks
Very popular choice, perfect to contain your dogs if they are escape artists or if they are not good at recall.
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. If you are worried about whether you can have an enjoyable water experience, just know that it is possible to have peace of mind when visiting dog waterparks by following basic safety guidelines. Some great ways to stay safe around water with your dog include learning canine CPR and keep an eye on your dog at all times to ensure they are not distressed. How can I find the best dog water parks in Oxford?
How do I know if a dog water park works for my dog?
Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your dog. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog water parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog water parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to see what kind of water features are offered to make sure it works for your dog. If your dog is not a strong swimmer, then perhaps choose a dog water park with tamer water features rather than a river or beach, for instance. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking water park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot water park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Additionally, we recommend following our water safety guidelines.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot water park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
If you are planning an amazing dog water park party, each Sniffspot water park has their own rules regarding special events. Many water parks allow doggie birthday parties, training and other event types. Event organizers need to be responsible for their guests and event organizers should coordinate with the host regarding their fun party.
What are the coolest doggie water features available?
Sniffspot dog water parks can have a variety of features, everything from swimming pools to rivers to beaches to hoses and kiddie pools. If you are dreaming of a curtain of water, water tunnels, a ball pit pool, water slide ball pits, splash pools or other cool features, you can definitely find amazing features at Sniffspot dog water parks. Each water park is different, so check the details of the park to find the incredible dog water park of your dreams.
