hi my name is Heidi what we’d like to offer here is friendship please for your pet to feel at home. We also offer a meal for an extra $10. Yes, book ahead and we will cater & make a lunch for you. Homemade. You can sit and eat then when done, you can let your dog play. We have a trampoline, a climbers for your pet, to jump on up. We also have a huge tent to visit in. It’s a 14 x 25 tent, with lots of room in it to sit and to socialize. Your pet will love it. Your pet will have a great experience at Heidi‘s home COST Is $10. for your pet. $10. for my homemade desserts cost $10 for a lunch or supper plate of food. So feel free to come hang out with us, yes, come experience our tiny park here. As Your dog will love it here and feel right at home.

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD. This is a field and bush area with a stream and pond that dogs are going to love exploring. No neighbours to hassle you while making all the noise you want. Grass may be tall or short when you arrive. Trails cut around the perimeter and through the forest to get to the pond. Guests are able to explore the whole property, but please stay to the forest and field areas. We realize sometimes dogs get excited and will venture out of those areas, so dont sweat it. As long as they are having fun, just call them back and continue on your way. We do suggest bringing some bug spray/mosquito repellent.

With plenty of room to run, explore, and play, this spot is ideal for dogs who need a bit of space to stretch their legs. The area is mostly grassy, with a few shady spots and gentle hills, providing a calm environment away from busy streets. Fresh water and shaded seating are available for both you and your dog to relax and enjoy your time here. Whether your dog wants to run around or simply explore at their own pace, Golden Root Acres is a great place to let them be themselves in a safe, quiet setting. Please park anywhere in the driveway and enjoy your visit!

Because it’s an American based company, all guests will be charged in USD. The property is very long and narrow, with a small hill at the very back. It’s a great spot for playing fetch, or if your pooch has the zoomies. My neighbour has trees along the North side of the fence, creating a lot of shade for your furbabies. Theres a picnic table available for you to use, and also a small bistro set off to the side by the gate that you’re welcomed to sit at too. Help yourself to the dog toys that are available in the purple bin, as well as the pile of sticks for fetch. I’ve recently added a tennis ball pool (you could also toss kibble in there), and some agility equipment - an all seasons commercial fibreglass tunnel, and a big wooden spool with a wooden bench to walk along. Feel free to bring some kibble to toss in the new pool noodle pool! It’s a great enrichment activity for dog(s)- trying to search for the kibble through the pool noodle pieces. There’s also drinking water for your dog(s), and a small garbage bin provided for any waste. We have Silkie chickens that stay in their fenced in area on the South side of the property. If you feel the chickens would be too distracting for your dog(s), please let me know and I can try and get them into the coop during your stay. Free wifi available ~ the password will be given when you book your visit. My goal is to have my setup better and better each time you come, so I welcome your feedback and suggestions!
