Whether your dog needs space away from a busy public dog park, loves a good game of fetch, or just wants somewhere new to explore at their own pace, you’re welcome here. The yard is surrounded by mature landscaping and trees, with a mix of sunny and shaded areas throughout the day and beautiful views of the sky and sunset. Guests are welcome to use the outdoor seating, and complimentary cold bottled water is available in the outdoor refrigerator. Your reservation is private. We want you and your dog to feel comfortable enjoying the space together without having to share it with unfamiliar dogs. The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! In the summer, though, the creek dries up until the fall rains come. You can always message us to find out if there is water in the creek before your visit. There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂

This area has wooded trails as well as cleared areas. Densely wooded areas and thickets all around. TICK PREVENTION IS A MUST! There are no pesticides or herbicides used here. Only natural horticulture vingear for spot weed control. This area is located beside Bear Creek and when the creek is high or after a good rain IT WILL BE MUDDY on the right side of the property! Dry creekbed located across the back of the property. **The Creek is NOT accessible from the fenced property** -Water hose on site for use. Dog shower/bath area to the right of the shed with dog wash hose attached, shampoo, and wash shammy. Or you may bring your own bath supplies! Just a short drive away from downtown Mooresville, here is a dedicated fenced in spot of land to let your dog or dogs come get some energy out. Throughout the day, the trees around the area do provide some shade within the fence. Your pups are free to dig, I just ask that the holes created be filled back in before you leave. There is a dedicated parking area right in front of the access gate, after you turn into the gravel driveway (marked by red reflectors).

**The pool is open for the season!** Welcome! We have a fun property your dogs will love! We have a 2 acre property, which includes approximately a half acre fenced area, a 1 acre unfenced area, and a separately fenced inground pool area. Only dogs are allowed in the swimming pool (unless you're actively helping or playing with them). Two creeks outline our property and dogs are welcome anywhere on the property. We tend to keep the grass in the back of the property a bit longer to support the bees, but it also makes for lots more sniffing for the pups! If you're using the unfenced portion of the yard, dogs must be on leash. We have dogs of our own, but we will keep them secure in the house when you're using the property so you'll have the whole yard and pool to yourself. We kindly ask that upon arrival you go around to the left side of the house to access the yard! Please give your pup a rinse with our hose before getting into the pool! Welcome to Camp-Ruff, a playground for K-9s! 🐾 Give your dog room to run, sniff, explore, and simply be a dog inside our fully fenced, private two-acre property. Camp-Ruff offers plenty of grassy areas, natural trails, interesting smells, and ample shade, making it a wonderful place for dogs to exercise and explore while their humans relax (chairs available). For our human guests, there’s an outhouse available inside the camper, as well as a shaded front porch at the Tiny House with comfortable seating. A water hydrant is available to wash up, refill the dogs’ water bowl or fill the kiddie pool for pups who enjoy cooling off and splashing around. Please remember to turn the hydrant off immediately after use and empty and turn over the water bowls and pool when you’re finished. Need to stay connected while your dog plays? Wi-Fi is available on the property, along with electrical outlets inside the camper and extension cord outside the camper. A little mosquito tip: near dusk the arbor and bench area is generally the best place to relax during mosquito season because of the Cedarcide chips surrounding the area. Since this is a natural, wooded outdoor environment, mosquitoes can still be present, especially after rain. Now I just want to see other dogs enjoying it and having fun. 🐾🥰 We are open from 9:00 am to 700 pm weather permitting. Private saltwater pool. Pool can be heated for an additional charge. Proof of your dog's current vaccines plus what flea and tick preventative they're on is required to be sent to me when you book a reservation!! NO exceptions!! Rabies & Bordatella are Required! Unfortunately, NO children under the age of 16 permitted IN the pool due to liability reasons unless pre-approved ! If you are bringing a child with you, they can sit on the side of the pool or in a chair and watch the dogs swim. They are NOT allowed in the pool under any circumstances unless pre-approved by me in advance!! If You are bringing more than one dog, they must already know each other and get along! It is highly recommended that you brush your dog before your visit. If excessive fur in the filter becomes a problem then this sniff spot will unfortunately no longer be available. Help keep it clean for everyone.
