Welcome to The Back Meadow, a spacious, fully fenced private backyard where your dog can run, sniff, explore, swim, and just enjoy being a dog. The property features a large open lawn with plenty of room for full-speed zoomies, a swimming pool for dogs who love the water, and multiple comfortable seating areas where you can relax while they play. Whether your dog needs space away from a busy public dog park, loves a good game of fetch, or just wants somewhere new to explore at their own pace, you’re welcome here. The yard is surrounded by mature landscaping and trees, with a mix of sunny and shaded areas throughout the day and beautiful views of the sky and sunset. Guests are welcome to use the outdoor seating, and complimentary cold bottled water is available in the outdoor refrigerator. Your reservation is private. We want you and your dog to feel comfortable enjoying the space together without having to share it with unfamiliar dogs. Please make yourself at home, let your dog stretch their legs, and enjoy some quiet time together at The Back Meadow.

The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! In the summer, though, the creek dries up until the fall rains come. You can always message us to find out if there is water in the creek before your visit. There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. Located in a cul de sac in the Brightmoor neighborhood, we have about a half an acre fully fenced backyard with a large deep swimming pool! Separate entrance to the backyard to the right of the house. Plenty of parking in the drive way. Shaded lot, places to dig, run, and play while your humans relax by the pool or in the screened in porch with plenty of seating. Come share our backyard, we love it! Pool activities are primarily for pups. Humans can get in the pool for safety and support IF needed, but your pup(s) should be your sole focus. The pool is not for human swimming unless you pay an extra fee of $10 per person per hour (assisting pup or for enjoyment). Must be at least 12 years of age and can swim for pool use. Thank you. Welcome to Doggy Pool Paradise! 🐶💦 The spot was started in honor of my sweet Bailey who passed away Easter weekend 2025 only 1 month shy of her 12th birthday. 💔 She was my soul dog and the primary reason I bought a house with a pool. Now I just want to see other dogs enjoying it and having fun. 🐾🥰 We are open from 9:00 am to 700 pm weather permitting. Private saltwater pool. Pool can be heated for an additional charge. Check this in the Extras section. Dogs are allowed to jump in but must use steps or ramp to get out. FYI- I will be closed September 27th through October 2nd for vacation!! READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK! Proof of your dog's current vaccines plus what flea and tick preventative they're on is required to be sent to me when you book a reservation!! NO exceptions!! Rabies & Bordatella are Required! If you don't have your dog up to date on these two vaccines and have them on a monthly flea and tick preventative do not book a reservation!! NOTE: Veterans and Active Duty Service Members get half off the hourly rate with Military ID. Please message me for a discount code. You & your dog can swim & play together safely and securely in the pool Kiddie pool is also available for dogs who are unsure about the "Big" pool - set up, fresh water, and cleaning afterwards for a small extra fee. Choose this in the Extras section. Doggy life jackets in Small, Medium, Large, and XL are provided. Please hang them up to dry after use. Plenty of seating and shade available. Mini fridge with cold bottled water for only $1 each located in the sunroom (choose this in the Extras section). Fun Dog water toys, dog life jackets in all sizes, dog towels, dog pool floats, water bowls and pool ramp available to use at no extra charge. Please bring your own sunscreen. NOTE: Sorry, no bathroom is available for humans as I may not always be home... Dogs MUST be current on their Rabies vaccine & Bordatella vaccines and be on some sort of flea & tick preventative!! Proof of this is required to be sent to me BEFORE your visit!! Screenshots are accepted. Poop bags & clean-up station provided near the gated entrance. All owners must pick up after their dogs in and out of the pool area!! Violators will not be allowed to return. There are security cameras on the premises. Max of two people (adults) per dog unless otherwise arranged with Host. Thus is not a pool party spot for humans! The pool is mainly for dogs. Unfortunately, NO children under the age of 16 permitted IN the pool due to liability reasons unless pre-approved ! If you are bringing a child with you, they can sit on the side of the pool or in a chair and watch the dogs swim. They are NOT allowed in the pool under any circumstances unless pre-approved by me in advance!! If You are bringing more than one dog, they must already know each other and get along! It is highly recommended that you brush your dog before your visit. If excessive fur in the filter becomes a problem then this sniff spot will unfortunately no longer be available. Hi! We are so excited to share our little oasis with your pups this summer! Come enjoy our fully fenced in backyard with a pool, lounge area and .5 acre yard! We kindly ask that upon arrival you go around to the left side of the house to access the yard! Please give your pup a rinse with our hose before getting into the pool! We have towels and pool toys available for your use and just ask that you return them in the bins at the end of your time with us. You will also find water bowls and poop bags for your pups as well! A few rules 🐾 We kindly ask that no children under 12 are brought to the space. Please DO NOT let your dog on the furniture. No more than 2 humans per dog. 1 dog=2 humans, 2 dogs=4 humans etc.. if you’d like to bring more guests please select the add on! We look forward to having you here at Labrador cove!
