This yard was perfect for Tally - lots of space to run, play fetch, and hang out in the shade! Thanks Golda for being a great host!

Nice spot to run around, there were quite a few dog piles we had to avoid this time but we were able to get some good recall training and lots of fetch in during the hour. There’s a spot in the back a determined dog could jump out of, but we didn’t have any issues staying engaged. Thanks for hosting us!

I had a great time with my dog Morgan. She is very reactive and isn't really comfortable in dog parks.

The yard is very long and pretty wide, too, and it’s perfect for playing frisbee with big dogs. The entrance is off an alley behind the yard (Simpson Ave), with a public parking lot right there. Very accessible. Dogs loved it.

Just a quick update to my last review: the largest gaps under the fence are now blocked. The smallest dogs could still get under at one or two points, but the majority of dogs would do very well here!

This nice, clean yard is in a peaceful area. There are several ground cover plants for exploration and which can make foraging interesting. Most SniffSpots around here cannot offer complete visibility blockage, but aside from one or two temporary holes in the fence, this one does! It's a great choice for dogs which struggle to react appropriately when they see other dogs. While the parking area for access is public, it is off-street and there are parking spots close to the gate. Getting in and out is easy. The host will offer parking at the front for guest dogs which need more isolated entry. The fence is listed as 4 feet at its lowest point, but that's only one small corner where a chunk of the blocks are missing. The rest of the fence is at a comfortable six feet. For the time being, very small dogs may get under the fence. Medium-size dogs could get under the gate. My 30-lb dog did! I have offered some spare landscaping blocks for the gate area, so that will no longer pose a challenge shortly. This is the sort of SniffSpot that my dog and I need for Lucky's mental well-being, and we are excited to return. Thank you!

Our time was wonderful. I needed a space where there weren't any other dogs and this was perfect. Thank you for also having doggy bags and toys to play with, I had come totally unprepared. It was peaceful, a ton of space and different ways to keep the dog engaged with rocks, grass, etc. The entrance was easy and the process overall was very positive. I will be back very soon, thank you!

Nice backyard with plenty of space to play and shade to rest. Great spot for dogs and humans. Note for others with dog reactive dogs - unfortunately the 3 little dogs the neighbor has were out at the beginning of our time and they came right to the fence barking. The neighbor eventually put them up, but as anyone with a reactive dog knows that made the entire visit difficult. No fault to the host - we took a chance!

My pup had a wonderful time! Jacie left out dog toys, treats, water, and waste bags. Her yard was clean and fully fenced. She was quick to respond to my questions as well. There are little birds that fly around, my dog was fascinated by them during our visit. For those with reactive dogs, there were no other dogs visible during our visit. Overall, wonderful spot!

Thank you Jacie for your hospitality. . I have a 5 month old mini aussie and we live in a condo. Being able to let him run and get his training in your yard for an hour is the best part of his day. We will be coming back thanks again

Are fully fenced dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. And with fully fenced Sniffspot parks, you can get the safety of a fenced-in space for dogs, while still having plenty of space to run.
