Winter Creek Dog Park In San Jose

Fully Fenced
0.5 acres

Last mowing day: May 13, 2026 SUMMER: Recommend AM visits before 10am or evening after 5pm. Our spot is full sun with very limited shade. We are trying to eliminate the foxtails but we have a large property and cannot guarantee we get all of them. We are pesticide-free so all removal is done by hand/tractor. **Horses visible in adjacent property occasionally Additionally, guests can enjoy the adjacent hillside which is partially-fenced. You are welcome to enjoy this off-leash or, if you're more comfortable, take a little stroll through the grass. NOTE: There may be foxtails and ticks in this area.

Open now! Maxie Water Park 🏖️Private Dog Pool In San Jose

Fully Fenced
0.11 acres

🐾 Welcome to Maxie Pool! Open now for this warm spring! The first private swimming pool in the area, designed just for dogs to splash, swim, and have fun! 🌞 About the Pool -Chlorinated and professionally cleaned weekly. -Pool depth & entry steps: The pool goes up to 9 ft deep on the east side, but most of the west side is waist-high shallow water. There are 3 wide steps where dogs can easily enter, rest, or leave the pool. -Dog life jackets in XS/S/M/L sizes (one of each), pool toys, and treats available. -We are open in spring since the weather is warm recently. The water temperature depends on sunshine and weather (not a jacuzzi or gas-heated pool). In early March, we tested that the pool water temperature is around 63-70F degree during day time. We had some big pups(golden retriever, bernedoodle, and labs) come to swim, and they all had a lot of fun. However, the pool is unsuitable for people to swim in spring. - Trees provide shade during most of the daytime in the backyard for guests to sit and relax. -The backyard has a mix of stone, mulch, pebbles, and turf, giving dogs plenty of textures and areas to explore. -A few extras provided: sunscreen, wipes, and dog treats to make your visit easier. ✨ Before You Book -This is a dog pool, so the focus is for your pups to enjoy the water. Even though we clean after every visit and run the filter constantly, dogs naturally bring in hair, oils, dust, and dirt. This is not a resort-style pool for people. -Please brush your dog before swimming to reduce shedding(brushes are provided) 👥 Guests & Dogs -2 guests included with the first dog. Each additional dog includes 1 guest free. -Extra guests: $15/person/hour. If you are bringing more guests, you can select in the EXTRA section when booking. -For safety reasons, children under 16 are not allowed. -Bringing 4+ dogs or hosting a doggy party? Please contact us before booking and we’ll be happy to help arrange! 🏊 Pool Rules To keep the pool safe and enjoyable for everyone: -Supervise your dogs at all times; no coach/lifeguard provided. -Pets & humans swim at their own risk. -No bathroom available, please plan ahead. -No food, treats, or glassware in the pool. -No peeing/pooping in the pool, please let us know immediately if your pup has accidents happen. -Dogs must be leashed entering/exiting; off-leash only once the pool steel gate is locked. Keep the pool steel gate locked at all times. -Keep noise down. no yelling, screaming, or loud music (quiet neighborhood). -Respect landscaping, there are plants, turf, rocks, and mulch; dogs play at their own risk. -Bring your own towels, no hoses, outlets, dryers, or shower facilities available. -Do not touch pool equipment, misuse will result in charges. -Pool cleaning is every Monday, there may be pool chemicals present. -Security cameras are at the entrance and backyard; footage is reviewed only for incidents. 💙 Thank you for helping us keep Maxie Pool fun, safe, and clean for every pup. We can’t wait to welcome you and your dog for a tail-wagging good swim!

Murphy Blue's 0.25 Acre Partially Fenced Agility Play Area In Felton

Fully Fenced
0.25 acres

We offer a small agility playground on our rural hobby farm in Felton to guests who understand the natural environment will have bugs, weeds, water, pokey berry plants, and dirt. There are lots of interesting smells, but our dogs and farm animals won't be seen because they're at the top of the hill. It’s likely our working livestock guardian dogs will be heard, and there’s always the sound of roosters crowing from a nearby chicken sanctuary. Privacy screen covers the 5' wire fencing. The immediate neighbors don't have dogs or livestock, but the neighbors and people walking down the street may occasionally be seen or heard. Our agility obstacles are available to trained agility dogs, and used at the owners' own risk. We are not liable for accident or injury resulting from improper use. The equipment is quite expensive, so please treat it with respect. Visitors are asked not to move, lean against , climb on, or set personal belongings upon the equipment. Don't allow your dog to chew on or mark the equipment. Rinse off any urine with the water spray bottle that's on the table. Expect muddy paws from the small spring fed creek that runs through the area. Small microfiber towels are available. Please leave wet or soiled towels on the table so they can be washed and ready for the next guests. Toys are well worn and cleaned regularly, but not between every visitor, so expect dog germs. There's plenty of shade from our redwoods, willows, and plum trees, and sunblock is available. There’s also a small dog first aid kit. Our yard is a natural environment for you to play with your dog. It's a great spot for sniffing, digging, and playing fetch. Our yard is a place for your dog to run and play. Consider everything else as a complimentary bonus. We appreciate your positive constructive feedback so that we may provide a wonderful experience for people who love their dogs as much as we love ours.

Sam's Fully Fenced Yard for Dogs To Rent in San Jose

Fully Fenced
0.02 acres

I look forward to welcoming you to one of the best Sniffspots in the area. My backyard offers a comfortable, private space for dogs to play and for you to relax and enjoy your visit. Homes in my neighborhood are close together, and I strive to be respectful of my neighbors. Occasional barking is, of course, normal, but if your dog is likely to bark continuously throughout the visit, this Sniffspot may not be the best fit.

Private swimming hole in the redwoods. Please read all "rules" and all "access instructions" after booking.

Partially Fenced
2 acres

This is a private, undeveloped, forested spot. If you are interested in this spot, you and your dog should be up for a mini adventure. This spot is not a manicured, backyard park. It is wild and beautiful, and a rare find in this area. THERE IS NO TRASH SERVICE AT THIS FOREST LOCATION. PACK EVERYTHING OUT WITH YOU, INCLUDING DOG POOP BAGGIES. The trail starts at the west (downhill) end of the parking spot, and winds downhill to the creek (there are a couple of switchbacks). The trail from the parking area to the creek is less than 5 minutes long. At the bottom of the trail, is a deck. Beyond the deck is a year-round creek with a swimming hole. There are fish, frogs, newts, and crawdads. All wildlife is protected, so please don't catch or remove them. You may walk up and down along the creek exploring, as long as you turn around before the bend that is downstream. The trail that leads downhill to the creek is intermediate, not for beginners or flip-flops. There should be no poison oak or ticks on the trail, but if you venture off the trail, you may encounter poison oak or ticks. There are blackberry bushes to the sides of the trail that resemble poison oak. There should be no foxtails. You may see wild animals. As a wild spot, you may encounter typical hazards that are present in most local forest trails, such as wildlife, water, and trip-and-fall hazards. This is a private spot, and there should be no other people or dogs during your booking. If you see someone during your booking, please let us know as soon as possible, so that we can take steps to prevent them from trespassing again. There is no lighting at this spot, so if you book before sunrise or after sunset, please bring a headlamp or flashlight. Maximum 2 people per dog. There is no trash collection service at this location, so please pack out any trash. Thank you!

Frequently asked questions about Scotts Valley dog parks

Why are private dog parks better than public ones in Scotts Valley?

Private dog parks in Scotts Valley eliminate the major risks of public facilities: unpredictable dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, and chaotic environments that can overwhelm puppies, seniors, small dogs, or reactive pets. Sniffspot's 202 private Scotts Valley locations offer complete privacy, professionally maintained spaces, and flexible scheduling. Whether you have a nervous puppy or a dog-selective adult, private bookings give you control and peace of mind.

How are Scotts Valley Sniffspot locations different from public dog parks?

Scotts Valley Sniffspots offer: (1) Complete privacy with no other dogs during your booking, (2) Controlled environments without aggressive dogs or chaos, (3) Flexible scheduling based on availability, not rigid park hours, (4) Safety for dogs of all temperaments and ages, (5) Vetted and reviewed locations—93% of visits get 5-star reviews. You get all the benefits of off-leash exercise in Scotts Valley without public dog park risks.

Can reactive dogs safely use Scotts Valley dog parks?

Yes, and this is exactly what Sniffspot was designed for! Scotts Valley has 202 private locations where reactive dogs can exercise off-leash without encountering other animals. Since bookings are completely private with 30-minute buffers between visitors, your reactive dog won't face the triggers that make public dog parks impossible. Many Scotts Valley owners of reactive dogs rely on Sniffspot as their only safe exercise option.

What amenities help anxious or reactive dogs in Scotts Valley?

Look for Scotts Valley locations with "fewer dogs seen/heard" to minimize triggers for reactive dogs. Secure fencing prevents escapes during stress. Quiet, spacious properties reduce anxiety. Some Scotts Valley hosts specifically cater to nervous or reactive dogs with extra privacy features. Read reviews to find hosts who understand fearful or reactive dog needs.

How clean are Scotts Valley dog parks?

Unlike public dog parks where cleanliness varies wildly, Sniffspot hosts in Scotts Valley maintain their own spaces and take pride in providing clean environments. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers) to prevent disease transmission. Many Scotts Valley hosts provide poop bags and trash cans. Reviews highlight cleanliness, so you can choose well-maintained locations.

Can I visit Scotts Valley dog parks with multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Scotts Valley Sniffspots welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (like 2-3 dogs maximum), which will be noted on the listing. If you have several dogs—especially if some are reactive toward other dogs—Sniffspot's private bookings let them play together safely without outside interference.

Are Scotts Valley dog parks good for senior dogs?

Yes! Scotts Valley Sniffspot locations are excellent for senior dogs who need gentle exercise without the stress of public dog parks. Older dogs can explore at their own pace, rest when needed, and avoid being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or large dogs. Look for Scotts Valley spots with flat terrain, shaded areas, and smaller sizes if your senior has limited mobility.

How do I find dog parks in Scotts Valley for small dogs?

Filter Scotts Valley's 202 locations by "small dog friendly" to find spaces specifically suited for toy breeds and small dogs. These tend to be more intimate, with secure fencing that prevents squeezing through gaps. Some Scotts Valley hosts have separate small dog areas or cater specifically to petite pups who might get overwhelmed at large public dog parks.
