Our 2.5 acre park is a tranquil path through the woods with multiple path options and limitless nature to behold, accompanied by a soundtrack of birds and insects. The ample trails that cover the park are easy to traverse, and your dogs will be delighted exploring the endless smells in between those paths to sniff…and pee on. If you love to hike with your dog but wish they could be off leash to investigate the wonders of the woods so you can marvel at the variety of ferns and fungi, this is the place to let your dog run free without worrying about them getting lost. The trails and fencing are a continual work in progress, maintained and built over a decade and then some. We ask our own dogs to help decide where any new paths should go, and if there are any gaps in the perimeter fencing, we hope you and your dogs will do the same. Please be mindful of roots and rocks along the paths, the trail is more natural in some places than others. Get your birding app ready, put your running shoes on, bring your camera and binoculars--there is more to this park than joyous zoomies for your dog! We take care of the dogs, but we haven't forgotten their people. Cold drinks, snacks and frozen treats are available for purchase in the She Shed refrigerator and freezer. The pool is heated, typically until December and then I start again in March but feel free to ask. The fire pit is available if you bring your own wood. That is also available through extras.

We have 3.3 wooded acres set back from the cul de sac and we back up to Duke Progress public game land. Previous owners created a trail out there that connects to a power line cut and 4x4 trails. You can hike for miles if you want and probably won’t see another person. We have a doggy paradise on our 3+ acres.
