55This was our first visit and we will definitely be back again. The host, Todd, is super communicative with info for the spot and he has done so much to create such a beautiful place. Lots of room for pups to explore, play fetch or just hang out. The creek is amazing that runs through the property. Jen J.

55What an amazing spot, Todd has done amazing with creating a great environment for the dogs and humans. The creek was perfect for the dogs to splash in and there was plenty of running space. There was poop bags provided, water, and lots of balls for the dogs to choose from. For the humans there was so much wildlife to spot. We enjoyed watching small fish in the creek and big birds near by. The whole spot was well fenced in and felt secluded without being to far out in the boondocks. Todd was responsive and was happy to share more info on the salmon that run through the creek, he was also more than happy if we wanted to extend our trip seems nobody was booked after us. We cannot recommend this property enough!Izabelle W.

55This area is peaceful and bright. I would come back with my dog Snow. Snow is a blue heeler, and I could tell the space was great for him to run and stretch. The owner of the area was kind aswell. Michelle R.

55What a great place! I don't know if I or my pup Jasper enjoyed it more. First time him to be in and around water unleashed. He thoroughly enjoyed it. He was unaffected by the chickens or horses. Greg D.

55What a great spot! Our pup, Cookie, loved exploring, running, and jumping over the creek! The entire place felt very secure and was fenced all around. We could see the horses from a distance, but when you get closer the tall grass blocked them from our dog’s view and didn’t bother her at all. Super amazing spot!!Isabel Z.

55The best spot for our 2 year old chocolate lab. The creek was long and area is well organised to either do a full swim-run or splash around and do some interesting sniffing. Our dog wanted to stay and discover more after our hour was up. Highly recommended. Todd was great with instructions and seeing us out.Ling T.

55Our dogs had the best time!! Loki, my husky, LOVES the water, and the fencing was secure enough so that he couldn't get through anywhere. Those 2 things make this a perfect spot in my book! We will definitely come back lots of times so my dogs can continue to be river goblins (: Sarah A.

55We drove hour+ to get there, it was worth it! The Creekside area was beautifully maintained (luckily field had *just* been mowed). My pup loved the water: splashing, leaping bank-bank across the creek, bravely crossing bridges, and retrieving ball. She even tried swimming at the deep point.
We had a total blast. Hope we can make it back! Dana E.

55We drove an hour and a half to visit this spot, and it was SO worth it!
One area of the creek was deep enough for our ridgeback to get a swim, but the rest of it was perfect for playing fetch in the water.
He was able to get a ton of running and swimming laps in!
Our Maltese, who hates the water, loved watching his brother run in/out of it! He also had the courage to cross a wooden bridge with water right under it.
The home and yard are beautiful, we will be back! Rebecca A.

55What an incredible Sniff spot. By far our best experience with an incredible space. Todd was very kind and welcoming, providing all necessary instructions to the property and sharing with us about the property. We can tell how much heart and soul he has put into the property. Our pup had the BEST time. We could stop smiling watching our city pup enjoy running as fast as he could and getting curious about the water. The farm fresh eggs were a plus and so we're the Dahlias that Todd graciously gave to us. You can see the horses (they are far and hidden) and chickens and our reactive pup left them alone. The birdwatching kit was a fun touch! We can't wait for our next visit. Thanks Todd for sharing this space with us!Ann W.

Frequently asked questions about Silverdale dog beaches
Why are private dog beaches better than public dog parks in Silverdale?
Private dog beaches in Silverdale eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Silverdale's 10 private dog beaches offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.
How safe are Silverdale dog beaches compared to public dog parks?
Silverdale dog beaches are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Silverdale dog beaches eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.
Are Silverdale dog beaches safe for reactive dogs?
Silverdale owners of reactive dogs choose dog beaches because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy swimming and beach activities while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Silverdale reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.
Can anxious dogs safely use Silverdale dog beaches?
Yes! Silverdale dog beaches provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a waterfront area where dogs can swim, play in sand, and enjoy beach activities off-leash at their own pace without stress. Many Silverdale dog beaches offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.
Are Silverdale dog beaches good for small dogs?
Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Silverdale dog beaches because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Silverdale avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog beaches eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.
Do Silverdale dog beaches work for senior dogs?
Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Silverdale dog beaches because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Silverdale dog beaches with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.
What do Silverdale dog owners say about dog beaches?
Reviews of Silverdale dog beaches consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite Ashley's 25 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Duvall is particularly praised in Silverdale. Read reviews to see real experiences from Silverdale dog owners with similar needs.
How clean and maintained are Silverdale dog beaches?
Silverdale hosts maintain their own dog beaches and take pride in providing excellent experiences. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers). Many Silverdale hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning. Reviews highlight maintenance quality—browse Silverdale dog beach listings to see real feedback about cleanliness and upkeep.
