55Great spot! Kind and communicative host. There are some materials and things (shown in the listings pictures) in the yard that my pup tried to get into but the toys and the space made up for it. An hour here and Murphy was WIPED! Kara D.

55Large, clean backyard. There was a water bowl and a hose to fill it with, which was nice. Quiet neighborhood and no close-by distractions, which was helpful for the two training sessions we did here. There was some construction noise, but that’s everywhere in Chicago. All in all, it was just what we needed.Don D.

55Great sized yard and easy parking! If you have a curious dog just know there’s an open storage area under the house they may try and adventure into. Brittni W.

55Very private yard, easy parking. Exactly as expected based on the Sniffspot details. Can hear another dog next door on occasion, but there’s no seeing it over the fence. We’ve gone twice now and would go more frequently if it were closer for us to drive to, as this space is ideal for our easily overstimulated doggo. Very nice to have a place like this to go to where we don’t have to worry about off leash dogs in public parks, etc. It was well worth the trip when we have visited. Thanks Susan for sharing your space!Jordan B.

55I conveniently parked my car on the side drive. I entered the Private and quiet back yard w/plenty of room for my dog to “run & fetch”. The water/hose and water bowl were handy and a doggy pool was available. GREAT SPOT & convenient location!David B.

55This was our first time visiting a sniff spot, and my dog was thrilled to be able to run around and catch his kong after more than 2 months of living in the city and not having a yard (as we did in the place we moved from). It’s a very nice spot and very private. There’s a small part of the fencing at the back where you can see the alley, but we didn’t see any people or dogs pass by. Thanks so much for sharing your space! Sarah T.

55Susan’s spot was great! Our pup especially loved the little pool, as we visited on a hot day. Lots of room to play fetch, high privacy fence and easy in and out. Susan also was kind enough to offer us parking in her driveway. The only drawback was avoiding a pile of aluminum siding at the back of the yard, but it was a minor issue. As this spot is only 10 minutes from our house and the host and space are great, we will be back Recommend.Jenna B.

FAQ about our Streamwood dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Streamwood area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 382 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 48 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
