Aunty Sooz's Private Backyard Pup Playground In East Pete!

Hello there. Welcome! Aunty Sooz's playground is about 1/4 acre of relatively flat grass and clover. I don't spray chemicals and choose to embrace my weeds. Also, there is a compost pile behind the shed where various critters like to burrow and lots of things to sniff! There are some toys on the white table under the pergola, but of course you can use your own. There is also a black plastic bin on the deck and a white doggy bag dispenser on the south side of the fence. My back yard is a work in progress. My yard work never seems to end. I am in the process of refinishing some wrought iron patio furniture. Hopefully, it will look better as the weather improves. For the dark winter months, I have decided to leave the holiday lights up. I also added some solar-powered ones although I'm not sure they help all that much. The previous owner left three handmade pvc hurdle obstacle poles that you can set up if you do agility training. There is a small fire pit which is the only other big obstacle for pups to zip past. In case the ground is damp, I try to keep clean towels on the table as well. There is also a dog water bowl near the back porch gate and a big metal one on the deck. I will have the hose hooked up when the weather warms. ***I ask that you book a few hours ahead so I can prep the backyard. Sometimes this app is buggy and I don't see your reservations. *** The back gate can be a little tricky if you're not familiar. It is a tight turn towards the backyard. Pups will likely go up onto the porch or in flower beds. The gate closest to the garden is a bit easier to navigate with a pup. You have to reach in between the two gate panels and pull the metal lever towards you as you push the gate open. I will try to prop it open for you and write you a personal welcome sign if there's enough time. Have fun!

This is a wonderful Sniffspot. Peaceful, safe, and fun! Janel could not have been more welcoming to me and my dog and granddog. She greeted me with toys, fresh water, and even a comfy chair! She also helped me bring my two rowdy boys in the gate. I brought home two tired and very happy adolescent golden retrievers. I will definitely return!

What a great Sniffspot! Thank you so much for having us! Flat and exceptionally clean yard in a nice neighborhood. Since we moved 6 months ago, my two dogs do not have a fenced in yard anymore and this was a great opportunity for them to get some zoomies out without a leash! Our Cocker Spaniel is dog and human reactive and our shitzu is easily bullied by other dogs, so regular dog parks just won’t do for us! This was a great experience and we will be back:)

What a great yard in a lovely neighborhood! My dog, Millie, is a mini Houdini and I am so glad to say this yard had a lot of care taken to make it secure. It was very clean and well kept. The yard is large and the porch is shady, comfortable and inviting. We loved trying the agility equipment. A few neighbor's dogs barked at us for several minutes, but caused no problems. I recommend this sniff spot!

Easy to find, easy parking. my dog loved watching the horses. Whole area is fenced in, and there was some shade. Larger area has room to run, a slightly smaller fence that my dog could've potentially jumped over, but otherwise very secure and two level yard to explore. There was a bucket of water and some toys. Lots of flies from the horses. Dani was very responsive with answering questions. definitely be booking again.

We had a great time. The yard wasn’t muddy despite all the recent rain, and they had treats, toys, and extra leads available. Our dogs liked seeing the horses, and the hosts were very friendly.

This spot is PERFECT! So many areas to sniff around, lots of toys, shade, and water. Erin was incredibly kind and communicative before we came and answered all our questions. We don’t have a yard yet and our dachshunds are dry reactive so this was the perfect treat for them to spend an hour sniffing, running, and playing. We will be back!

FAQ about our Tremont fully fenced dog parks

Are fully fenced dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. Human and animal safety is our #1 focus. Without a private option, many dog owners are relegated to using athletic fields or tennis courts for their dogs, which are not private or safe. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. And with fully fenced Sniffspot parks, you can get the safety of a fenced-in space for dogs, while still having plenty of space to run.
How can I find fully fenced dog parks in Tremont?
There are 90 fully fenced dog parks in the Tremont area. The most popular fully fenced park is Pumpkin’s 1 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Palmyra. You can browse all of our fully fenced dog parks here.
How do I know if a fully fenced dog park works for my dog?

Start by applying basic filters, such as fences height and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your dog. You can see attributes of fences such as height, gaps and fencing type to find the perfect fenced-in space for dogs. You can filter by size to make sure you have plenty of space, or a smaller space if you prefer a neighborhood park. You can browse on a map by park location to find one in your city or near your city. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our off-leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible near the space. Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to check features you want for your activity, such as fresh water, trail features such as soft trails or walking trails, or even water fountains. If you prefer wood chips, many of our parks have wood chips or indoor space if you prefer a beautiful park building.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot fully fenced dog park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit use by pregnant dogs and we do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules, such as staying within the designated off-leash areas. Each park location also has their own set of rules that guests need to follow, such as limiting excessive barking.
