The .36 acre yard is fully fenced in with several access gates. There’s trash cans outside the gate for poop bag disposal, poop bags available for use, table/chairs/umbrella for relaxing, and kid toys such as sand box, trampoline and soccer net available for use. I run a pet sitting business out of my home and frequently have other friendly playful dogs over. I can keep them in, or I can let them out for extra play time and exercise. The yard is maintained weekly, and no weed killer, fertilizer, or pesticides of any type are used.

Welcome! We are excited to share our yard with you and your dog! This is a 0.25 acre rectangle of flat land with lush cut grass. Bring your dog(s) to run, play or train. We provide dog water, a few toys, shelter and shade. There are cable spools, weave poles, a tunnel and a jump for your dog to use for confidence building and exercise! UNAVAILABLE until 8/1 💦 splash pad available for the season (June-September)! 💦 NOTE: This time of year, mushrooms grow in our yard after rain. These are standard lawn mushrooms and should not pose a threat to your dog other than the possibility of an upset tummy should they eat a lot. We do our best to remove these as we see them come up, but be aware you may see a few stray mushrooms 🍄‍🟫

We are across from pineknob golf course and music venue. You can hear the music from our yard . There’s lots of trees and bushes that block us from the road your dogs won’t even see the cars driving past We have lots of cut grass the dogs can run around and play . We now have a sandy beach they can play on and go swimming in our clean pond and dive off our dock . Lots of room to throw frisbees or balls to the dogs . PLEASE stay around the pond we have a chicken coop next to the house behind some trees and bushes not very visible from the beach area so please stay from the beach area to sashabaw road which is the area all around the pond .

The Lyon Oaks Dog Park in Wixom, MI is a 13-acre fenced area with separate sections for large and small dogs. It features benches, shelter, picnic tables, water access, and a field training area. All dogs over four months old must have a license and wear it at all times. Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the park, and owners must carry a leash at all times. Only two dogs per patron are allowed, and dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and respond to voice commands. Shock collars and metal collars are not allowed. Welcome! We are working hard to make our peaceful, quiet 12 acres into a beautiful park. You are welcome at any time, day or night, to walk, run, bike, ski or snowshoe with your dogs. We no longer have any pets-- no more dogs, horses, chickens, or other livestock. We are often visited by deer and groundhogs. Although we have 12 acres, the house and barn are in the middle of it, so you may see the house from many areas during your visit. Usually, we are working inside or we are away and we keep most of the curtains closed. We may use the driveway or receive a delivery. Future plans include clearing the West trails, planting more evergreens, and making an indoor play space in the barn. Our park will continue to improve -- it is a work in progress! We took lots of pictures and will continue to add them. We want you to know as much as possible about the site before you come here for your visit. We welcome your suggestions on how to improve.

Paths last mowed: 8/2/2025 Enjoy a beautiful walk on a network of trails that traverse rolling hills in and out of the forest. At the back of the property, you will enjoy some of the best and most private scenery in Oakland County. As summer turns to fall there are a lot fewer bugs and beautiful color changes. Some trees are changing already. Please stay on the cleared paths on the West side and South portion of the property due to work being done on other sections. There are wooden arrow signs that help you navigate to the back of the property and back to the parking area. Thank you. (We are currently expanding and connecting the trails, as well as clearing the views to the lake and river, so watch for some nice additions in the future.)

The back property is L-shaped. The majority is open space so plenty of room for zoomies and catch. There is some bushes, wild areas, and trees to experience new smells, and play hide-n-seek. The water spigot is on the deck. Our requests: 1) Street parking only. Please do not park in the driveway. 2) Pick up your dog's 💩. Pooper scooper and small trash can is provided 🚮 3) No digging anywhere, even if it appears to be bare or an available hole. 4) No smoking 🚭 Be sure to walk all the way to the back fence to see our Heritage "Grandmother" Oak Tree that's over 200 years old! I am delighted to have you and your dog(s) enjoy this fully fenced in 1 acre yard! There are long open areas where doggo can run full speed chasing a ball. There is a concrete wall on one side of the property, woods covering the back and most of the side, and a tall fence on the front side, which creates a very private space. Also included is poop bags, water, and a poop scooper. No pesticides are used on this property. There is also plenty of room for parking multiple vehicles in the driveways. Enjoy!

As the weather is changing and days are getting longer, we plan to stay open till 9pm or longer just depending on daylight. 🐶 If you are looking for a quiet and secluded place for your fur babies to play you have found the right spot. This is a great spot for reactive dogs and non socials as I am situated on 5 acres and almost 2 of the acres are fully fenced for the SniffSpot. My neighbors are very spaced out as well, so u have a very quiet visit. Also a great spot for training ( we have added agility equipment, we have 2 huge tires, Agility jump poles, and an A Frame ladder).
