“My name is Ozark Branson! I love my mommy and she is my safe place! Once I get to know people, there are a lot that I like, but I don't really like meeting new people. Same with dogs. I like to pretend I'm the big tough Alpha dog, and I won't back down from anyone. Mom says I am like Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde, because I'm a big ol softie at home with my people, but the dog park can be overwhelming for me, and there are too many dogs.“

“Hi I’m Ozark! First off my humans keep up on my yearly vaccines and medications to try to keep me and my dog friends safe. They keep vaccination records and can obtain proof from my favorite vet in town. I was rescued at just 3 months old from a puppy mill down south. The ASPCA moved my litter mates and I to the Milwaukee Humane Society in October 2022. One of my humans named Sean randomly went to look at animals at the humane society one night and my wonky eyes and big feet piqued his interest. I was the last puppy left; I didn’t look like the other “perfect” puppies😢 Sean FaceTimed my soon to be mom and convinced her to let him take me home. She said “I don’t care but I want nothing to do with that animal it’s your dog”. My mom forgot that she can’t say no to loving an animal😎 Sean and I drove 45 minutes home to Oconomowoc that night. My mom of course spent all night going to different pet stores and spent a ton of money on necessities for me. Long story short, my mom grew attached to me right away and would carry me up and down the steps, she got me a snow suit when it was freezing out and took me to puppy social events. Now, we are inseparable and obsessed with each other. My dad is cool too but mom and I are bonded and attached at the hip forever ♥️ I like to run as fast as I can, swim, play fetch, and meet other dog friends.“
