Winter: - We snowplow trails for ease of accessing and walking through the park. Spring/Summer we offer: - A kiddie pool so your pups can cool down! There is a fence around the kiddie pool in case you decide you'd like to keep your pups' paws dry. - We maintain the grass at a reasonably short level. - Drinking water for the pups and a bowl. - Sunscreen and bug spray. Please note: The fencing is 4 feet high at its lowest point, with wire fencing suitable for most dogs! Very small dogs may be able to sneak through the wire. The park is in a country neighbourhood where there are other animals, such as dogs, horses or cats, that may be seen or heard from the park. Our park is connected to a farm so wildlife is part of the adventure!

The entrance is on the east side of our property, NOT via our house/garage. You can park on the street, or drive right into the yard, if that's easier. We have 2 dogs on the property but they will not be allowed in the reserved area. They are in a separate area that is fenced and they are not visible. Private dog park at your convenience. We do run a Boarding Kennel. There is a chance when parking, that’s there may be dogs in our large yard, behind a fence. We recommend keeping your dog on leash for about 1 or 2 mins of your walk into the off leash area, if you have a reactive dog. We will however try our best to work around our sniff spot guests as well.

However it’s important to note horses may be in the pasture next to the sniff spot. The fence is sheep fencing. Small dogs could sneak through so be watchful. The pasture space is rolling and mostly open with some treed space. Your dog may find all sorts of things here but please leave any bones they find. Feel free to take sticks. Located just west of the Battle Lake Baptist Church (Google map that if lost or see my picture for map) on the curve corner of RR 20 and TWP 462.
