Large oak tree for shade and a Dog washing station so your dog can get cleaned up before returning home. We offer camping too where he/she can join you to sit by a campfire. Convent location off 441 between Gainesville and Alachua Fl. We have Plenty of room to run. Dogs love it here, so we would love to share the experience they and their owners have with others.

We live on five acres. Tucked away off of 27 or (SR 45) on a dirt road. If you are planning a day at the springs, we are located 20 min from Poe, blue, Ginnie and Rum Island springs. The property is not completely fenced. We have a picnic table under a muscadine grape vine or a open fire pit area to relax. If I am home I will give access to my restroom in my house. I have 2 small dogs, 2 cats, chickens, ducks and rabbits. They will be secured in enclosures before you arrive. I am starting a hobby pond, it does have a liner with water and pump, but that's it. Not great for swimming, but makes for a giant bone shaped water bowl. You can park next to carport and have fun with your fur baby. P.S. basket on side of carport will include doggie bags, hand sanitizer, bug spray for humans, doggie treats, cooler with cold water. I have water bowls available. Access to water hose as well. Old towels to clean paws and shoes.

The North Star is positioned right over our entrance, and you might see it if you stay at the ranch late. Please bring your own water, snacks, poo bags. Also we have no trash collection, so please take your waste home with you. This is what we do as well. Consider a visit to our ranch a visit to nature that has been fenced in for your dogs’ convenience. And as in all Florida woods, there are some safety concerns you need to be aware of before your reservation. There are more or less visible stumps and vines all over the ranch. There are also some prickly cacti, buckthorn bushes and brambles. Tree logs and trunks have been arranged in some areas as edging for trails. The ranch is a work in progress and we are very slowly cutting prickly plants back to where they aren’t in dogs’ faces, but it’s taking us a while. Long pants and closed toed shoes are very much recommended. We also suggest tick spray if you’re worried about them. We find that in winter time they are rare. Mosquito cream is available during summer months at the gate. We recommend you use it. There is a 20 liter canister of water for dogs available at the picnic table along with a black rubber bowl. There is a back gate at the ranch and we don’t suggest venturing out of, as the back of the property is NOT fenced, and trails are grown over. Please stay in the fenced-in area only for your safety! We hope you and your dog enjoy lots of sniffing while you’re either strolling along or sitting down in one of our picnic areas. There is some agility equipment available at your discretion. Please use it wisely and look out for your pet’s safety first. Wilderness warning! ⚠️ Snakes have been spotted at the ranch several times. Our dogs run through the ranch daily, so wildlife is used to human and canine presence. This was their home before we enclosed it, so we respect their presence and move around them if we spot them. To this date we haven’t had any negative experience with the wildlife, and we surely want to see you stay safe as well. Keep your eyes open if you veer off the main paths, and have some treats in your pocket to help call your dog back to you in case of a snake sighting. I have three dogs that get along well with others, but can keep them in their respective places. I hope to eventually create another spot for larger dogs; that way big dogs have a spot and little dogs have a spot!

Feathered Fields Private Dog Park In High Springs

Welcome to Feathered Fields! We are a family run farm with almost 6 acres of lush field for your pups to run and play. As a newly established “venue” we welcome feedback and ideas to expand on a comfortable, safe and fun experience for you and your pets! Currently we do not have electricity or water access on the field so we encourage all guests to bring proper hydration for your pets. Poop bags and a trash can are provided (see photos) but all guests are encouraged to provide their own supplies of course, if possible. Designated parking area for guests will be marked with RESERVED signs and a temporary key code will be assigned to guests for accessing the field during their allotted time. Feel free to bring your pups’ favorite toys! Firearms and live fires are not permitted on the property at any time! If desired, guests can bring chairs or sit back on the logs in the field and enjoy the sun while your pups have the time of their lives! Our property frequents deer so I’m sure they will enjoy the sniffortunities around the field!
