These yards are natural, doggy daycare yards with uneven ground kept free from waste and safe for pups to play. They are not available during business hours and are not lit for nighttime use.

Bear Brook Canine Camp

Fully fenced in approximately two acres. We now have lighting for nighttime use. Approximately five times around the property perimeter equals a mile. We have chuck-it throws and balls, many toys, sand/digging areas, pools and agility equipment in a large, fenced area for you and your dog to romp around. Main entrance to the yard can be found by entering the second driveway and parking in the designated parking area in front of the solar barn. We do not plow that driveway in the winter as it’s just gravel. So, feel free to park at the bottom of my driveway and walk to the SS gate if you’re not comfortable using the SS driveway in the winter. We ask that you please adhere to our 24 hour notice when changing or canceling a reservation. We are always fully booked on weekends and most weekdays too. About 1 acre fully fenced in yard with a 6 foot privacy fence, except the gate - (which is 4 ft chain link). Bench & patio furniture for the humans. Cushions are in the shed, please just return them to the shed after use. We have poop bags, a trash bucket, water dishes, and toys also in the shed along with a kiddie pool you can use. In the summer there is a water faucet attached to the barn, right in the yard to fill the kiddie pool or water bowls. A frost free faucet located right outside the fence, on the back of the house is usable all year. Both are fed from a natural spring on property for crystal clear water. Please note we are are a working woodshop so you may hear, and occasionally see people, on your walk to the backyard.

Welcome to our little dog-friendly retreat! We offer a fully fenced-in play area where pups can safely run, explore, and relax. There is also access to the rest of the yard, but because of nearby traffic, we only recommend venturing outside the fenced area for dogs with reliable recall. On warmer days, dogs can cool off in the kiddie pool, and we provide plenty of toys for playtime. All toys and water bowls are thoroughly sanitized between visits, and labeled bins are available for used toys to help us keep everything clean for every guest. We do not use pesticides or insecticides anywhere on the property, making the space as natural and pet-safe as possible. However, because we avoid chemical treatments, we cannot guarantee the yard is completely tick-free. Poop bags and a designated waste receptacle are provided, and we kindly ask that everyone clean up after their pup. We also keep bottled water available for humans because both pups and their people deserve to stay hydrated! Access to the pool is blocked by a gate on the deck stairs. - After a lot of rain we sometimes get muddy puddles. - The yard has grass, flowers, woods, a kiddie pool, access to a hose, water bowl, dog toys, a place for pet parents to sit and relax while the doggos play. - Its probably a bit more than a 1/2 acre fenced with grass and a wooded trail. There will almost always be someone home during any visit as I work from home. We have dogs and I will lock them inside the house while we have visitors. Rules: 1. We would appreciate a 24 hour notice for all reservation changes or cancellations. 2. If you have more than 2 cars attending at the same time, please park at North Broadway Crossing. 3. Only one booking is in the yard at a time. 4. Due to the pool, no person under 18 is allowed on the property without adult supervision. 5. It is crucial that you arrive during and only stay for the time booked because another family may be booked directly after you or I could have my dogs in the yard if you are there outside of your booked time and I wouldn't want an unexpected encounter.
