Large open area next to a horse stable. Lots of squirrels and birds to see. We do not have a wooden fence but we do have a barrier that my two Dobermans respect as well as my neighbors Great Danes. Gentle slopes and rock gardens give pups plenty to run around. It’s a serene little oasis close to New Haven for pups that need their own space to romp and play without the “space invaders “ at local dog parks. You are welcome to bring a blanket to sit on the lawn and watch your pups run and play. I will be updating to include a “ ball box” for “Chuck-It” fetch.

Give your pup a cool break at our 4 acre partially fenced private dog park over 100 meters from the street with water, grass, woods and more! Human friends can take a break in the shade and watch for some of the magnificent birds that also visit the river while your pup is having the time of it’s life. Private parking onsite. *** This is a “carry in carry out” “park!” Please take your poop bags. I cannot have all the poop :) There is a park with a garbage bag 200 yards from my house if you want to dispose of it quickly. Right out of my driveway, 200 yards on your left. Pull over and toss the bag into the garbage there. **Back patio is off limits. It is not fenced but please respect this space, tables, chairs, etc., as my private space and refrain from sitting/lounging. Please also refrain from in using the swing set. Please do your best to keep pups from running through any plantings! All other space in front yard near the river and backyard grassy area and woods are available to explore! ***I have recently found a lot of poop in my yard. You MUST clean up after your dogs. If it continues I will have to shut down my spot. Please keep a watchful eye on your dogs and clean up their poop. I cannot police the yard after every visitor and clean up their poop. Be respectful of the Sniffspot community and just in general have respect and clean up after your dogs!!!

Grass cut very often, dogs have free rain of the back yard, there is nothing that will harm them, birds and squirrels love to visit the back yard. I will have all dog supplies and toys in the shed. You are welcome to take and use what you want. Just please return to its location once finished.

Large fully fenced in yard with some Adirondack chairs you can sit in. We also have a table and chairs with an umbrella for shade. Lots of room to run and play ball with your dog. The backyard gets almost full sun midday and full shade in the morning and late afternoon. If it’s a hot day we recommend booking early or later in the day. We put out a fan on the table for hot days, and an ice water pitcher for the humans. We also can give ice water in the dog bowl for hot sunny days. A kiddie pool is also available if the weather is warm enough and your pup enjoys water. Bring your own towel! The two balls that are placed out are washed with soap after each doggo visit.

Welcome pups & humans! Our fully-fenced dog run is a flat 60x30 feet area with low grass, dog toys, treats, water bowls, and treated with organic pest control for ticks and mosquitoes. Fencing is high for bigs, and goes completely down to the ground for littles! What we make thru Sniffspot goes to the care of animals we rescue! About 1/3 is shaded, Wi-Fi, covered porch and a dedicated shed aka “pup parlor” with sofa and chair to chill out in inclement weather. If added, we can set up the kiddie pool for your visit. Bug spray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and water for the humans. Pup playground is located on a 4-acre property (you can also have access to) called Graceland Meadows Animal Rescue & Sanctuary (www.gracelandmeadows.org) where we save pets and farm animals from cruel lives and needless deaths. The spot is named for our recently departed Rocco, our love and inspiration! Sniffspot fee goes to the care of the rescued animals. Currently we’re home to two rescued horses, six chickens, and four companion birds, located in their own separate enclosed areas. We have two rescued dogs permanently sanctuaried here for a year+ and possibly another one or two at times that we’re fostering. My dogs will be inside when you visit — unless you’d like your dog to have a playmate … in which case, happy to discuss and try out a playdate. This is a half acre backyard oasis for dogs 🐕 of all breeds, and their parents. It comes equipped with an inground heated pool, enclosed gazebo and Poolhouse. Dogs love to jump in the water and cool off on a hot summer ☀️ day, as well as run laps around the big backyard if they have the zoomies. There is a 6ft privacy fence around the entire backyard, and a separate, additional 4ft fence directly around the pool for safety. There are also security cameras, a charging station, and Bluetooth speakers if you and your fur baby enjoy music.

Great place for dogs to run, play catch and enjoy the fresh air off leash. Please do not allow your dog to dig holes in the yard. PARKING proceed up the driveway to the very end where the asphalt turns into gravel - continue straight all the way to the end of the gravel to park. Try not to drive over the cobblestone edging please.

Fully fenced, secure and private acre of doggy heaven located on a cul de sac. Large grass yard, mulch, and wooded area on each side of the yard will keep your dog busy sniffing and exploring. The ground is cleared in the wooded areas for fun running and walks. Large blue stone shaded patio that backs up to woods. The large in ground pool is securely covered with a safety cover. All people and pets will be inside during your visit for privacy. There are poop bags, a bowl of water and a basket of toys for you and your pup if you wish. Whether you want to sit in the shade or play in the sun, there are multiple seating areas. Driveway and Street parking with easy access to the spot. The pool will reopen on Memorial Day.
