Additionally, a picnic table, chairs, bug spray, and hand sanitizer are provided for your use. • Further Exploration: At the bottom of the stairs, another single gate with more dog bags provides access to the field, creek, and wooded walk. Please leash your dogs beyond this point unless they have excellent recall. Wildlife such as deer, foxes, raccoons, rabbits, hawks, and even beavers may be encountered. • Paths: To the left, a path leads through the woods, up the hill, and around the garage. We have animals that need tending too, so you may hear us from time to time on equipment/ tending to our animals! We have options of fenced in spaces for our friends that prefer to be closed in, a space for climbing and digging , and open spaces to run or trails to walk! Currently back trails are not officially marked but path is clear with tire tracks. Please be mindful of trees or branches from above and below. Possible risk of tripping and falling in the paths. We can’t wait for you all to visit! And please do not hesitate to contact with any questions or if any assistance is needed!
68 acres and wooded trails and a large open field, located down a long privet driveway. Let your dogs run and play without the worries associated with a public park! We do have chickens, goats, and dogs on the property but they are either fenced in or in the house during your visit.
This field was once used for pony cart races. As such, there is .3 mile grass track for walking laps. There terrain in the center of the field is bowl shaped because it used to be an artificial lake. A beautiful creek borders the edge of the field. The depth varies, but most areas are only 1-4 feet deep. A lightly wooded area borders the opposite end from the entrance. Tucked away in the back corner is a little island accessible by a fallen tree.
5 acres of woods to run free in, with a comfortable back porch to sit in peace with your dog. House is on a private road, with access to a private trail system. Avoid the crowds at Great Falls park - 10 minute walk/hike to the Potomac River! Or walk down the road and see the horses at the barn. Access to water from the spigot on the back of the house.
Come for our glorious sunrises on the creek and sunsets in the fields or just to enjoy the day exploring the fields and creek. The dog area starts past the broken black fence behind the house and goes down through the fields and into the woods. I would appreciate it if you would kindly please keep the dogs leashes and wait until you are past the broken fence to allow your dog to do any business. To get to the creek, go past the broken fence and keep going down the hill to the back tree line. I have included a map in the pictures. And then just keep walking; it’s about five minutes from the house to the trailhead. We have set out fluorescent yellow markers on the trees on the back tree line as you approach the trail. We also put up a blue sign that says “To The Creek” at the trail head. Once in the woods, walk down the steep hill and take the trail to the right at the bottom of the hill, before the little ravine. That trail will take you out to a spot where your dog can splash around and I’ve cut a few trails to explore back there. If you go to the red barn, you’ve gone too far. The trail is right at the base of the hill. We are looking forward to having you and please reach out if you need anything special or want to chat before coming.
At least 5 acres, big back yard with grass, wooded area with hiking trails, very private off road property. 4wd recommended.
All things magical! Open 3 acres to run or hike in the woods (24 acres) where the magical fun begins.
My property is 8 acres of secluded beauty and very private. We are adjacent to Rocks State Park, and blessed with opportunities for you and your "best friend" to explore the many wonders nature has to offer. Part of the property surrounding the house is fenced and the remaining acreage can be used at your leisure.
We have a wooded section with paths and an open area for running. It is not fenced, so dogs will need to be trained to come when called. I would ask that you stay on the trail as we do have neighbors and some of the woods belong to them. The front of the house is fenced, the visiting dogs will not enter this area.
