Come visit our unique, peaceful yard in the canyon located in easy-to-access central San Diego, just up the hill from Snapdragon Stadium in Mission Valley. We recently purchased our home and I would love to share my backyard with your pups to help get the zoomies out or to just bask in the sun! Our yard provides a mixture of terrain including turf, grass, DG, mulch & rocks! Along with lots of space for play, you have the ability to add on our top deck which includes a refreshing pool & a hill the pups love to run up! Hi! My husband and I have a home on a third of acre on a small quiet cul-de-sac in the hills of La Mesa. The backyard is very large and is terraced, so it’s great for exercising dogs or sniffing around (lots of great smells). There are also many fruit trees you are welcome to (orange, grapefruit, lime, lemon, and fig). We also have a pergola with 4 chairs and a fire pit. Lots of shade is provided by our pecan and jacaranda trees most of the year. The backyard ground is a mixture of brick pavers, gravel, and mulch. We have several hoses throughout the yard that you’re welcome to use as much as you want. There is an empty koi pond that can be used as a splash pool for dogs too with our hoses. We also have outdoor electrical outlets and strong WiFi if needed. It’s a hillside home so there are great views of Mt. Helix and even the ocean on clear days. It’s a wonderful quiet place to relax and enjoy the outdoors!

We are a dog daycare, training, grooming & social boarding facility. We have expanded and have an extra playroom with access to an enclosed outdoor, turfed space with a separate entrance. Mop buckets, poop bags and cleaning supplies will be provided and renters are responsible to keep space clean. Water bowls and play equipment are provided as well. Renters are responsible to monitor the dogs themselves and keep a safe space. (We do not have a public restroom) Availability to use the room is on Sat and Sun.

Our neighbor does have two dogs who, when outside will bark at other dogs from time to time. There is a section of the fence that is chain link and the dogs can see each other. If the barking becomes too much for your dog, I will always offer refunds if you can’t stay. Other than that parking is easy and we will give you your privacy hope to see you soon!

There is fresh water and access to toys in this area at all times in addition to other listed amenities. The entire farm is 36 fenced acres. For anyone interested, I will gladly provide supervised walks around the entire property for additional enrichment at no additional cost. Palmhill is a working organic farm. There may be an occasional worker sighting, but absolutely no reason for any employee to interact with a guest or their dogs. My interests lie in offering an affordable, large, safe, clean, offleash venue for guests and their canine companions.

You will have full access to the front & backyard that wraps around the home. This space is full fenced in. Brick and Concrete driveway (however parking will be on the street). Access to hose for dog drinking water or for play. Bring your own bowl Guests will have access to back laundry room for toilet & sink only. No access to main house. Pooper scooper available, but bring your own doggy bags. Garbage cans available for trash. Please clean up after yourself and pups! You will also be able to take home plantains and lemons from the trees in the yard 🙂
