Twenty-seven acres right outside of 28021 city limits. Former cattle and sheep pasture, currently empty of livestock but waiting for you and your pup(s) to explore! Variety of areas: from large open pastures to heavily wooded (but still easily accessible/walkable) areas = lots to see, hear, and sniff! No need to pick up after your pet either! Water available multiple locations: outside the fenced pastures near block building/parking via hose pipe at the well near the garden 🪴 or inside the pastures (look for the blue barrels and the cattle waterers).

Dog Paradise in Northwest Charlotte

**The pool is closed for the season.** Welcome! We have a fun property your dogs will love! We have a 2 acre property, which includes approximately a half acre fenced area, a 1 acre unfenced area, and a separately fenced inground pool area. Only dogs are allowed in the swimming pool (unless you're actively helping or playing with them). Two creeks outline our property and dogs are welcome anywhere on the property. We tend to keep the grass in the back of the property a bit longer to support the bees, but it also makes for lots more sniffing for the pups! If you're using the unfenced portion of the yard, dogs must be on leash. We have dogs of our own, but we will keep them secure in the house when you're using the property so you'll have the whole yard and pool to yourself. Tina's Fully Fenced Field/Pond/Woods Mineral Springs/Waxhaw

The one plus acre field is the area where the dogs would play/run, there are also woods they can go into, they also have access to a pond about 3/4 acre, but this would need to be discussed at first visit so you take a look and see if it is acceptable. The whole area is fenced. Five acres in total. We do have five dogs, but they would be in the house when you are visiting with your dogs, you may hear them bark, but would not see them, a separate entrance to the field is available. No traffic near by.

The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! In the summer, though, the creek dries up until the fall rains come. You can always message us to find out if there is water in the creek before your visit. There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂

Dog Park at George Poston Park

The Dog Park at George Poston Park in Gastonia, North Carolina is a fully-fenced enclosure that opens at 7 am daily and closes at sunset. The park has strict rules in place, including leashing dogs until safely inside and outside the park, supervising children, and no smoking or eating in the park. Separate areas are provided for Small and Large Dogs. Dog owners are responsible for their pets' behavior, waste disposal, and stopping them from digging. The park prohibits aggressive dogs, puppies under 4 months old, and more than three dogs per person. Professional dog trainers must have prior approval to conduct business at the park. Whitewater Off Leash is a fully-fenced dog park located at 5000 Whitewater Center Pkwy in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dogs must remain on-leash until inside the off-leash area, and owners must keep their dog under voice control. Dogs must be up to date on vaccines, at least 4 months old, and must have a collar with identifying tag. Owners are responsible for picking up their dog's waste, and there is a limit of three dogs per person. We call this the dog yard! It is over an acre fully fenced and a very safe place for dogs to play! We have dog toys, dog water bowl (hose to fill it), and chairs and tables for the humans. We also provide a pooper scooper and trash can. You can enjoy viewing the rolling fields of pasture, horses, and chickens on your visit, and you can play disc golf!

The Canine Traveler

This Sniffspot is a fully fenced property (our home is inside the fence) with rolling hills, bumpy terrain, sticks galore, piles of limbs, well dug holes by our lovely golden and pyrenees, and tons of open space. Please watch your step. When entering, you can park in the carport, gravel driveway, or even in the grass. You can use the grass to turn around in as well. You will close the gate right at the road during your entire stay. You can leave the gate open as you leave for our next visitor. We will not be visible during your visit and you will be the only occupants at your scheduled time. We are located outside the city limits and it is not uncommon to hear people target shooting or hunting. Just keep this in mind because that is out of our control. Trash & Amenities: The trash can and other amenities are inside the carport and at the picnic table in the back near the bamboo forest. Dog Library: We have a new dog library in the back near the bamboo that we will stock with toys, sticks, bags, and goodies. Seating: We have a table and four chairs in the bamboo/shaded area in the very back if you would like to have a picnic off the ground. In addition, we have a bench inside the carport. There are two fold up chairs in the carport if you would like to use them anywhere on the property. Fence: The fence is 3 to 4 feet on three sides and five feet on the road side. The front fence is wood slats/split rail with wire. There are some sections that have a fence behind a fence (even some you cannot see that are the neighbors). On other sides we have wire and chain link. Our Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever have never escaped or tried to jump it and that is a win for a Pyrenees! Wildlife: You may see turtles, snakes, rabbits, deer, ground hogs and squirrels. Grounds: The property around the home has never been graded so it is hilly and lumpy so be careful where you step. You can see holes dug in the yard from dogs. It is fine if they dig. We also had pipes going to a garden years ago so if you see them, don't worry! They are half buried and half exposed. Water: You have access to our well and water bowls. We also have a kiddie pool if you would like to use it. Wifi: We have wifi and outdoor outlets in the carport. Welcome to "Koda's Field Fun" (10+ acres)

Hi there! Our dog, "Koda," enjoys running through our fields and chasing rabbits and deer. I came across Sniffspot by accident and thought what a great idea so others can enjoy our area. I also have two children in college, so an extra revenue stream is nice, too! Basically, you will have access to our yard and the two fields we own. It is unfenced but a very safe area off the main road. Your pup will enjoy running through the fields and chasing wildlife. Koda and i walk it several times a day - it's great to run or walk while getting those steps in! The walking path around the fields is mowed weekly, and the property is indicated by markers. There are woods on one side that your pup will love to explore. Some of the woods are more open for you and your best friend to explore together. There's a remnent of a pond through the woods in one spot that still gets some water sometimes. It's more of a big watering hole or mudhole. So there is a chance your pup might get wet if they explore that area and there'sbeen recent rain. You will almost always see deer while walking the path, especially in the mornings! If you visit during the right months, there are plenty of blackberries outlining the walking path. You're welcome to pick what you want. The fields are planted right now so Koda enjoys running and jumping through the grain (see if you can find the white tail deer in one of my photos!) but at times the fields will be cut shorter. I will always put Koda inside so you can have privacy; however, if you ever want a doggie play date, I'm sure she'd be up to it! As I am a new host, I am still working on creating signs and coming up with more creative ideas so that we can become your favorite Sniffspot! I don't know how popular our spot will be since there is no fencing, but if it is, I am excited to make it bigger and better! I work remotely, so I will put out fresh water for you and your pets to enjoy before your reservation begins.
