If you plan to use our area, give me a heads up by texting me or calling me at 704-773-3858 so I can make sure our dogs are up and that all of the amenities have been refreshed or replaced. This is our home, but you are more than welcome to use it as you are on your travels. Please be respectful of the neighborhood while you’re here. Feel free to park in our driveway as the entrance to the backyard is through the wrought iron gate, located at the end of the driveway the brick wall — you can’t miss it. I have a large backyard that my border collie loves to run around in. Fully fenced. The back end of my yard faces a big lot. One neighbor has a dog that is sometimes out and the dogs will race back-and-forth along the fence line. My dog is not outside dog so I am generally outside with him whenever he’s outside and I sit on the back porch. You can park on the street in front of my house. You would enter the backyard on the left side through the gate. I do not keep it locked, but I do put the carabiner through it so Smart dogs cannot lift up the latch. You are welcome to put your poop bags in my trashcan right there by the entrance to the backyard. Sometimes, if the dogs are lucky, they will be able to chase the bunny or squirrel. They definitely will have birds that they can chase around.

We have an amazing large backyard with a large deck. The deck can be blocked off with dog gates so you can just enjoy the yard. We have a dachshund but he had an accident and is paralyzed now so we don’t spend as much time in the yard as we used to. Please pick up your dogs poop if they use the bathroom in the yard.

We tend to keep the grass in the back of the property a bit longer to support the bees, but it also makes for lots more sniffing for the pups!
