Tucker's Wish Run and Play Park

Fully Fenced
0.25 acres

The only Sniffspot with a heated indoor room in all of Indiana! With A/C in the summer. I work at a local shelter and i started this spot to help our shelter dogs who need a break from the shelter, have a place to go enjoy time with their humans besties or dogs who don’t have yards and/or can’t enjoy public dog parks. 2 people per dog max. (exceptions for adoption meet n greets, and families only). Message me for inquires. Our heated Indoor space is ready for fun. My backyard dog park is filled with toys, obstacles, and more fun than you’ll find anywhere else. -my neighbors do have dogs but there is a big distance and privacy fence in between my yard and theirs. It hasn’t seem to disturb my guests with their (reactive) dogs much at all yet. She often puts them away if they get too much. Aside from the driveway before you enter, there is no direct barrier to their fence. And no she cannot make it over the fence. -full privacy fence -yard obstacles like tires, kiddie pools, A-frame, jolly balls, tree hanging tug toy, and more for your dog to enjoy playing in, on and around. -A bucket of toys of all size, age and destruction levels. -endless tennis balls -towels -multiple kiddie pools. -multiple raised cots for your pup to relax or train on. -accessible water hose -SPLASH PAD -plenty of doggie bags at your disposal -A water dispenser and cups. -This spot is dedicated to my soul mate Tucker who crossed over the rainbow bridge way too early. This would’ve been his dream yard.🐾🌈 At Tuckers Wish we are always changing and improving our spot. We always appreciate any feedback on how we can improve your visits and make you want to come back. So please don't ever hesitate to reach out. Tucker was one of the friendliest and most social dogs you would have ever met. He would've loved to meet every single one of you. So i want this spot to alway make you feel welcome the way he made everyone feel when you met him.

Barkov Park (2 acres, fully fenced w/ pond) In Plainfield

Fully Fenced
2 acres

**Spring Update: Cellophane Bees: we have discovered a little colony of Cellophane bees in our agility field. These are NOT aggressive, not like yellowjackets and do not swarm. They are hugely beneficial native pollinators and we have decided to leave them be (har har). They are marked off with a fence, although my dogs had run right through them multiple times with no issues and i discovered them while standing on top of the area. They are very docile and only sting when grabbed. They will be here until about mid/late April** Enjoy a fully fenced spot (4 foot wire mesh livestock style fencing), run through mowed grass, tall natural meadow (we are “rewilding” a portion of our yard to native plants), two short wooded trails and access to a large pond with dock. Dogs are welcome to swim—bring towels and be prepared for some mud if it’s been raining or you have a pond monster doggy. Woods have wonderful smells, my dogs sometimes find delightful things to roll in. A hose is available for use on warm days. We do have chickens on site and ask you not allow your dog to harass them as you enter and leave (chickens are in a separate fenced area and in a coop/run). My dogs will be in the house—some barking may happen on your arrival but they will not be loose. Wildlife may be encountered (deer, squirrels, crawfish, muskrats, many birds and snapping turtles). **Note: I didn’t want to claim the site as accessible as it is grass and some uneven ground, but feel free to reach out if you need an accommodation to access the spot and we can discuss what is possible** We welcome all. This spot has a water feature, make sure to review these guidelines for visiting spots with water before visiting: https://help.sniffspot.com/article/167-how-to-keep-your-dog-safe-around-pools-and-water

Frequently asked questions about Columbus dog agility parks

Why are private dog agility parks better than public dog parks in Columbus?

Private dog agility parks in Columbus eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Columbus's 21 private dog agility parks offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.

How safe are Columbus dog agility parks compared to public dog parks?

Columbus dog agility parks are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Columbus dog agility parks eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.

Are Columbus dog agility parks safe for reactive dogs?

Columbus owners of reactive dogs choose dog agility parks because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy agility training and mental stimulation while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Columbus reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.

Can anxious dogs safely use Columbus dog agility parks?

Yes! Columbus dog agility parks provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a space equipped with obstacles like tunnels, jumps, and weave poles for agility training at their own pace without stress. Many Columbus dog agility parks offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.

Are Columbus dog agility parks good for small dogs?

Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Columbus dog agility parks because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Columbus avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog agility parks eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

Do Columbus dog agility parks work for senior dogs?

Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Columbus dog agility parks because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Columbus dog agility parks with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.

What do Columbus dog owners say about dog agility parks?

Reviews of Columbus dog agility parks consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite Barkov Park (2 acres, fully fenced w/ pond) In Plainfield is particularly praised in Columbus. Read reviews to see real experiences from Columbus dog owners with similar needs.

How clean and maintained are Columbus dog agility parks?

Columbus hosts maintain their own dog agility parks and take pride in providing excellent experiences. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers). Many Columbus hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning. Reviews highlight maintenance quality—browse Columbus dog agility park listings to see real feedback about cleanliness and upkeep.
