Hello, Alanna and Austin are opening our new Sniffspot for others to enjoy. The spot previously was used for horses; which we do not have anymore so figured we could use it as a spot for others to enjoy. You will see an electric fence, but it is not live so no need to worry. Nice green space

I have a large space that I am sure a dog will love to run in. In the summer, the "grass" (more weeds than actual grass) gets very dry. Year round there are A LOT of burrs due to the dryness so if your dog has longer fur they might get some attached to them. As well, in the winter, post rain, it can get muddy back there. It's a fairly large open space with a longer run on the side. Also, I want to note that in the back of the property the fence is lower, around 4/4.5 feet (the rest of the yard is at least 6 feet), so if your dog is a good jumper, this could be an issue. The view is everything! We are a ten minute walk from the Glen Park Bart station and downtown dog friendly restaurants and bars.

Pups of all sizes enjoy this spot. Half acre property, fully fenced and gated, good privacy, lawn, pool, lounge chairs, small table and chairs, flower gardens, redwood trees, olive trees, persimmon trees, meditation garden, hummingbirds, and even a red fire hydrant. Optional pool access for people can be purchased as an Extra, by the hour and by the person. The pool is below 70 degrees right now. We love all dogs and welcome dogs of all shapes and sizes and hair types to visit; however we can only offer pool access for non-shedding pups, as long hair and fur was unfortunately causing damage to the pool equipment; If you are booking for more than one non-shedding dog swimming or for longer than an hour, please message us with info about your dog(s) and we will create an extra for you for the number of dogs you have swimming . Most visitors find the lawn size ample for running around and throwing a ball a bit, but if you are looking for a field to throw a tennis ball as far as you possibly can with a Chuck-it, the yard is not really the right size and shape for that, sorry! Hours right now are 7:30am to 8:00pm. We look forward to your visit!

A lot of vegetation and places to sit down, meditate, read a book, study, or have a picnic. Your pup will love to play in our one-acre garden. Picking fruit or vegetable etc. is off the limit. Drinking water for animals is provided in various containers throughout the property. Please do not turn on or use any water equipment on our property - we had some serious problems in the past because of this. Please clean up after your dog’s “business”, smile. That’s a mandatory request. Waste bags are provided in a plastic box with other dog’s supplies) and a BROWN garbage can is in the front of the house by the street for your convenience. Thank you! Woof woof! 🌸 Note: in the rainy season we might not change the water for dogs because it’s senseless, so please arrive always with your own supply of water and if it’s raining you might like to wear rain boots as well. Two separate yard areas (if preferred for smaller dogs). Yard games, towels and hammock available upon request. Water for you and your pups, use of hose and private lounging/working areas with Wi-Fi. Toys, treats and waste bags for your four-legged friends are also available. Fire pit and kiddie pool available for a small fee.
