We have a fully fenced in yard in the Village Oaks subdivision! Come bring your dogs to have some fun while your kids are at school or have them all come play after school. For pups, we have lots of grassy area to run and play. They’re welcome to hop on our kids’ play set and ride down the slide, as our beloved dog did. We also added a trampoline this summer and a ninja warrior set for kids (and adults!) to play on. Two big trees provide plenty of shade for you and your pup. We pride ourselves on having a backyard enjoyable for both dogs and families to enjoy! 🩷🐾

For Your First Visit: It is a good idea to walk your dog on a leash around the perimeter until you are comfortable. Although it is fenced, it is not possible to know every dog’s individual behavior. The tornado siren goes off every first Saturday of the month at 1:00. No joy. I am often available if needed for questions or help. We welcome suggestions! Enjoy! NOTE: We now have dog-safe drinking water from our rain barrels. There is a blue hose on the ground at the fence, just turn the knob for water. 💧 Special note for June and July: it’s mulberry season, and boy have we got ‘em (fortunately they are not toxic to dogs). Please note that our parking spot and part of our Sniffspot are covered by mulberry trees, so you *will* get berries on your shoes. Dress accordingly! 👍🏼

During the spring, our retention pond does fill with water and we do have a creek to the south of our property that isn’t always full. The back of the property can be more wetland during the rainy months, so please be prepared for that. We have chickens who spend there time around the chicken coop in the front by our home which is not visible from the trail. The neighbors home at the top of the hill is visible a bit.
