Yoko's 12 Acres Quiet Meadow & 1 Acre Hidden Pond

Partially Fenced
12 acres

This is not just a place for dogs to run. It’s a quiet piece of land by the pond — a space where dogs can explore freely, and humans can slow down for a moment. In early spring, the pond may still be lightly frozen. The air feels crisp, and everything is just beginning to wake up. By summer, it becomes a place full of movement — water, grass, and happy, muddy paws. We’ve kept the space simple on purpose: • A natural pond for curious swimmers • Open field for running freely • Trees that offer shade, calm, and a place to pause No crowds. No noise. Just your time. Whether your dog loves to chase, sniff, swim, or simply wander — this space lets them be exactly who they are. And maybe, you’ll feel it too.

Monarch Hills Farm Private Dog Trails With Lake View In Holly

Unfenced
59 acres

Enjoy a beautiful walk on a network of trails that traverse rolling hills in and out of the forest. At the back of the property, you will enjoy some of the best and most private scenery in Oakland County. As summer turns to fall there are a lot fewer bugs and beautiful color changes. Some trees are changing already. Please stay on the cleared paths on the West side and South portion of the property due to work being done on other sections. There are wooden arrow signs that help you navigate to the back of the property and back to the parking area. Thank you. (We are currently expanding and connecting the trails, as well as clearing the views to the lake and river, so watch for some nice additions in the future.)

Mel's 15 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Laingsburg

Unfenced
15 acres

Lovely 150 year old decommissioned farm that has been rewilding for 40 years. It has been held as a private wildlife refuge and has been farm and garden chemical free for many years. Trails wind through meadows, woods, and across frozen marsh in the wintertime. Encounter deer, turkey, crane, friendly crows, songbirds, raptors, a wide variety of wildflowers and trees. Also the occasional bunny, fox, coyote, raccoon squirrels and chipmunks pass through. In sheltering spots like my wood chip pile, I have seen snakes and salamanders. In season there are berries and fruit from wild apple and pear trees scattered along the trails. Note that this is a natural area resulting from the rewilding process and not a groomed and open park-like setting. But the trails are wide and mowed regularly for ease of walking. In the woods be prepared to navigate the occasional sticks and branches that may be on the path as typical of a natural woodlot. Wear sturdy walking shoes. This is an exciting place for dogs to sniff around! Looking forward to your visit!

Frequently asked questions about Flushing small dog parks

What amenities do Flushing small dog parks typically include?

Flushing small dog parks feature amenities designed for appropriately-sized exercise: small dog friendly, dog toys and small dog treats, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Flushing hosts customize their spaces. Browse 180 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

Can I find small dog parks in Flushing with water access?

Many Flushing small dog parks include water features! Filter by amenities to find swimming pools, natural ponds, or water play areas. Water is perfect for hot Flushing days, water-loving breeds, or low-impact exercise for seniors and disabled dogs. Each listing specifies water type, depth, and safety features. Some Flushing hosts provide life vests or shallow options for nervous swimmers.

How clean are private small dog parks in Flushing compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Flushing see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private small dog parks have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Flushing hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Flushing small dog parks on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Flushing small dog parks offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Flushing private small dog parks let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit small dog parks in Flushing?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Flushing that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Flushing small dog parks have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Flushing small dog parks allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Flushing small dog parks welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Flushing where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Flushing small dog parks for special events?

Many Flushing small dog parks welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Flushing hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Flushing small dog park listings for event policies.

How do Flushing small dog parks accommodate dogs with special needs?

Flushing small dog parks are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Flushing special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
