This is a great area, a farm secluded in the middle of Manassas. There is a large field on the side of the house that is mowed and maintained. Behind the field there is a wooded area that you can also explore with a small fence that will show you the boundary. There are some trails maintained and mowed throughout the wooded area as well. We are adjacent to the 234 bypass but a line of trees shield you from the sight of cars. There are no domestic animals here anymore but the fields are still here and beautiful. There is plenty of room for you and your dog to run around and enjoy some peace, quiet, and freedom!! You can throw your Frisbee or ball as far as you want! There is a covered little seating area and a hose for freshwater or if you need to hose down some feet. There is a trash can available and easy parking. I have a total of two acres available for SniffSpot. One is the main area that you immediately enter and is fully fenced. An additional area that is further back behind a cattle gate is available for use but unfenced at this time. We offer toys, water, water bowls, parkour equipment, lots of toys and a small pool for the summer. Long games of fetch or frisbee. Tug. If you dog loves to sniff there are lots of fox, deer and other creatures in the area to enliven your dogs nose! Easy parking available. We can even accommodate large groups or even your puppies birthday party!

Horse Farm in Lovettsville

Come for our glorious sunrises on the creek and sunsets in the fields or just to enjoy the day exploring the fields and creek. The dog area starts past the broken black fence behind the house and goes down through the fields and into the woods. I would appreciate it if you would kindly please keep the dogs leashes and wait until you are past the broken fence to allow your dog to do any business. If your dog is under control or if the horses are not out, you can let them loose right after the broken fence. If you think your dog might be nutty with the horses, please take appropriate measures. To get to the creek, go past the broken fence and keep going down the hill to the back tree line. I have included a map in the pictures. And then just keep walking; it’s about five minutes from the house to the trailhead. We have set out fluorescent yellow markers on the trees on the back tree line as you approach the trail. We also put up a blue sign that says “To The Creek” at the trail head. Once in the woods, walk down the steep hill and take the trail to the right at the bottom of the hill, before the little ravine. That trail will take you out to a spot where your dog can splash around and I’ve cut a few trails to explore back there. If you go to the red barn, you’ve gone too far. The trail is right at the base of the hill. We are looking forward to having you!
