Skarlett's Private Dog Park In Stratford

Fully Fenced
0.25 acres

My pets will be indoors at the time of your booking. Thank you! :) Here on SniffSpot I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment where your pets can feel comfortable, socialized (if you wish) and cared for. I’m a proud dog mom of five Cockapoos and a cat mom of one, with hands-on experience raising puppies from birth (including assisting with a litter), as well as caring for senior pets. My home is an LGBTQ+ friendly space, and I’m also a Fairfield University graduate. At my home, your pets will enjoy plenty of space to run, play, and relax in a calm neighborhood that’s great for walks. My goal is to create an stress-free, fun, and safe experience for you and your pet(s). It would be much appreciated if you could book ahead of time so that we can ensure the space is clean and ready for your visit as we like to clean water bowls and fill with fresh filtered water before each visit and do a quick walk through. This will also allow us to locate our cat if he is outdoors and bring him in, as well as our resident dogs. Thank you!

Frequently asked questions about Guilford dog fields

What amenities do Guilford dog fields typically include?

Guilford dog fields feature amenities designed for full-speed running and fetch: wide-open grass fields, fetch lanes, and open running space, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Guilford hosts customize their spaces. Browse 65 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

How much does it cost to use Guilford dog fields?

Sniffspot runs on a membership model with monthly and annual plans that include credits toward Guilford dog park bookings. Members get discounted rates at participating Guilford spots, and new users can start with a 7-day free trial. There are no surprise booking fee. Your credits cover the reservation. Browse Guilford dog fields listings to see individual spot pricing, and check your membership dashboard to see how many credits you have available.

How clean are private dog fields in Guilford compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Guilford see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog fields have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Guilford hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Guilford dog fields on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Guilford dog fields offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Guilford private dog fields let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog fields in Guilford?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Guilford that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Guilford dog fields have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Guilford dog fields allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Guilford dog fields welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Guilford where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Guilford dog fields for special events?

Many Guilford dog fields welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Guilford hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Guilford dog field listings for event policies.

How do Guilford dog fields accommodate dogs with special needs?

Guilford dog fields are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Guilford special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
