I am so happy to have found this place. I am new to the area and currently do not have a fenced in yard. I have 3 dogs. My oldest rescue is 4 and is fearful of people. He is fine with other dogs but because of his fear he can never go to dog parks, doggy daycare etc. We were just told that he has terminal cancer and I want him to be able to experience things that his siblings have. This place has everything and then some. It was absolutely perfect. What a great idea. Thank you. We will definitely be back.

This is a great spot to bring your dogs to run around. They offer a big fenced in yard with an agility course, tennis balls, even snacks for the humans. Poop bags are provided and water as well. There a plenty of trees so it's mostly shaded. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to bring your dogs that's secluded but also super fun.

What a fabulous yard for my pups to play in. Very clean, even had soap and water to wash out the water bowl. Very nice shaded area for the pups to play and be cool. My dogs loved playing with the agility obstacles but most of all loved the tube. Will be back for more fun and activities. My sister with my pups after they ran through the course and chased each other. They were tuckered out before the hour was up.

We love coming here and have been for a while. It is a safe place for my dog where I can feel comfortable letting him run about. The space has lots of options of things you could do for enrichment. I love to mix up our routine by coming to this sniff spot. The owner works hard to maintain the area and has everything you need to pick up after your dog.

So grateful for such a great, safe and clean place for Louie to explore! Lots of agility equipment - hoping Louie will start to use them but his priority is sniffing every blade of grass and sprinting around 😂 thank you for sharing your puppy happy place!!

I was so pleased with our experience at this location! It is in a lovely neighborhood and so clean. I loved that there were so many extra amenities such as clean tennis balls, snacks and access to the hose for clean water. My pups were pooped after about 30 minutes. They had such a great time. Thank you!

This spot was clean and well kept. It is in a residential area very close to the road and I was concerned that my highly reactive dog would be bothered by neighborhood dogs walking by. We didn't see any dogs at all! The agility equipment was a huge bonus and I will be checking my schedule to book this spot again!

Great fenced in area for my husky. I took my 2 older children with me and they enjoyed the nerf ball thrower that was provided along with a human snack. Nice change to let our pup run around and not worry about other distractions to make him not listen. We will go again soon.

What an AMAZING Sniffspot!! So clean, so organized and so much space! We have a 5 month old white shepherd that needs some confidence building so the agility course is absolutely perfect for us! - Our chocolate lab loved the space to run and fetch his stick. - There is super easy access to a water hose, seats to relax on, lots of tennis balls, treats and even a tennis ball nerf gun shooter. - We will definitely book again!! Thank you so so much!! The pups are exhausted!!!

FAQ about our Groton dog fields

Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
How can I find dog fields in Groton?
There are 25 dog fields in the Groton area. The most popular dog field is Old Mystic K-9 Adventure Park. You can browse all of our dog fields here.
How do I know if a dog field works for my dog?
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
How much do Sniffspot fields cost?
Dog fields in the Groton area range from $18.0 and $18.0. The least expensive dog field is Old Mystic K-9 Adventure Park. The most expensive dog field is Old Mystic K-9 Adventure Park. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
