We will have our yard aerated and over-seeded on October 14. We have been advised to limit traffic in the yard for 3 weeks after the work is finished. We regret any inconvenience this causes and we will really miss seeing your dogs. We hope that you will come back to see us when we open the yard again. The yard is fully fenced and we do not have other pets that will use the yard. We are located in a subdivision. We have had large and small dogs use our yard. Adam and Terrie love dogs and we no longer have a dog. We do not want to own another dog at this time but we love to have them around. We share our yard with you because it gives your dogs a chance to run and play and it gives us a chance to see a dog. We try to greet you as soon as you arrive, offer drinks and assistance, and if you allow it, we’d love to pet your dog(s)!

We are open to visitors using our 12 acres of open field space, 3 acre pond, almost a half mile of stream, and 3 acres of woods. Trails move you around the pond and up into the woods. There is a lot to do here and a plethora of activities for dogs and humans ranging from open field play and running, hiking, and water activities. Please follow the signs and do not disturb the owners at house. Beach area of pond has seating areas, hammock, and fire pit. There is also a seating area and rope swing. Visitors are not permitted to fish in pond. The Ridge Trail is a bit more difficult for older dogs and humans and/or people not in the best shape to hike. Proceed with caution. CERTAINLY, please take the map provided at the entry table.

Brand new fence! Officially opened! Located off of a quiet road by the Sky Meadows State Park entrance. We live on the property with our two rescue dogs (but they will be kept away and inside the house during your visit). Our property has a brand new fence (wood paddock style with reinforced cattle wire mesh) that we would like to share with people and their dogs who need some exercise. An additional area that is further back behind a cattle gate is available for use but unfenced at this time. A dog pool, plenty of chairs located sporadically in the shade and one in the middle with an umbrella for shade! We have even put a hammock out there if you want to relax while your dog gets his/her energy out! We have also provided toys, costumes for dress up, light treats and we have a water source for cleaning off the paws as well as towels to dry your pooch before getting back in the car! The private dog park is 100% fenced in and while you’re here our dogs will be in the house so they are not a distraction. All you need to bring is your dog and yourself and you’re sure to have a great time! The proceeds from this Sniffspot will go to our Nonprofit Animal Rescue, Maci Blue Animal Rescue! Our home is down a quiet road that ends on a cul de sac, you may park in the driveway or the street. There are 2 available gates on either side of the house. Beyond the gates, you will find a basic family yard. Grass is trimmed. There's a play-set, a welcoming patio, and a few chairs around a fire pit. It's a great space to throw a ball or sit and let your dog explore. We do have neighbor dogs that may say hi at the fence. Message me if you need wifi or have any questions! Our 11 acre farm is 1/3 mile down an easement off of a quiet road. We have about 2 acres fenced in as a yard for the pups, and also to keep the cows in their pastures. Entrance to the yard is through a gate next to the driveway near the garage. Appointments only please so that we confirm and can put our friendly pups away - unless you would like playtime, and we are sure the dogs get along. We ask that only fully vaccinated and healthy dogs (not recovering or suffering from a transmittable illness) visit our property, as it’s our home.

Come for our glorious sunrises on the creek and sunsets in the fields or just to enjoy the day exploring the fields and creek. The dog area starts past the broken black fence behind the house and goes down through the fields and into the woods. I would appreciate it if you would kindly please keep the dogs leashes and wait until you are past the broken fence to allow your dog to do any business. If your dog is under control or if the horses are not out, you can let them loose right after the broken fence. If you think your dog might be nutty with the horses, please take appropriate measures. To get to the creek, go past the broken fence and keep going down the hill to the back tree line. I have included a map in the pictures. And then just keep walking; it’s about five minutes from the house to the trailhead. We have set out fluorescent yellow markers on the trees on the back tree line as you approach the trail. We also put up a blue sign that says “To The Creek” at the trail head. Once in the woods, walk down the steep hill and take the trail to the right at the bottom of the hill, before the little ravine. That trail will take you out to a spot where your dog can splash around and I’ve cut a few trails to explore back there. If you go to the red barn, you’ve gone too far. The trail is right at the base of the hill. We are looking forward to having you and please reach out if you need anything special or want to chat before coming.

Large fenced in backyard. Open space to run and play. Patio with umbrella table and four swivel chairs. If the chairs are tipped up onto the table when you arrive, please feel free to put them back down on the patio. I tip them up, as the birds are active in that area, and I am trying to keep the chairs clean of bird poop. Two trees for shade. Various dog toys that are cleaned after each visit. A bag to put used/dirty toys in. A bug zapper with a light that hangs from the umbrella handle. It needs to be turned on and off with the rubber button tabs. I recharge it after visits. A kiddie pool as an extra (June - September). Lights for nighttime play! Please park in the street in front of the house. Enter through the gate on the right side of the house. If I have advance notice and I am home, I will leave a cold bowl of filtered water on the back steps. Bug spray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, paper towels, dog treats, and a dog first aid kit are in the bin on the umbrella table.  If you bring your own bowl and I wasn’t able to leave one out, please feel free to use the hose and water from the spigot on the back of the house to the right of the sunroom behind the umbrella table. Please make sure you turn it off when you are finished. Water to that spigot will be winterized (turned off) once the temperature drops below 32° and will be de-winterized (turned on) in the spring when the temperatures warm up. There will always be a jug of fresh filtered water on the back steps for use. There is a garbage can with a plastic bag in it on the left side of the door to the shed for discarding your poop bags. Please knot your poop bags and make sure the lid is closed tight. The spigot on the right front of the shed is not potable but can be used for cleaning or cooling your dog down. The spigot tends to spray, so stand as far to the left as you can when turning it on if you don’t want to get wet! This system will be winterized (turned off) during the winter months. New toys will be added and rotated on a regular basis. Toys can be found in the plastic bin on the patio table. Please feel free to help yourself to what is in the bin, keeping in mind to leave some clean toys for the next guest in case I am not home to clean them in-between visits. Please place any toys that you used in the bag hanging on the umbrella handle so I know which ones need to be cleaned. After each use, I wash and sanitize each of the toys that were used. I just added a small bug zapper. The bug zapper is hanging from the handle of the umbrella. Push the ON switch to turn it on, and you will see a blue glow. There is also a button to turn a light on that gets brighter in three stages. This bug zapper needs to be charged, so when you leave, please remember to turn it off. Please try to keep your dog from walking into or laying in the decorative grass around the perimeter of the sunroom. In the Spring/Summer there will be an 18 inch high green metal fence in front of the back garden. Please try to keep your dog(s) from jumping the fence so that the flowers can grow and bloom for all of our enjoyment. The wooden bench in front of the garden recently became wobbly, and it may not be stable to sit on. I am looking into getting it fixed.  I am working on building a designated digging area and will notify guests as soon as it is complete. Please disregard any bare  spots in the grass. I am trying to dig out and get rid of the patches of crabgrass that has taken over the yard since opening Snoopy’s SniffSpot, due to not using any pesticides or chemicals for the safety of the dogs. These bare areas will be reseeded as soon as possible. I may end up putting short fences around the newly seeded areas in order to keep the spot open and keep the seeded areas able to grow.
