Treat your dog to a one-of-a-kind Splashpad experience at Playful Pups Retreat. This clean, professionally maintained space is designed specifically for dogs to enjoy safe water play, cooling off, and enrichment in a private setting. Guests also have access to a large grass yard for additional running and exploration. The Splashpad Sniffspot yard at our Hershey Road location is available on Saturdays and Sundays only, offering a quiet, self-service environment while our facility is closed. Please note that this is a dog-only Splashpad. For safety reasons, children are not permitted to run or play on the Splashpad. While most visits are quiet and private, we do offer dog training classes onsite on some weekends. Guests may see people or dogs arriving, though they use a separate entrance. This is important to consider for dogs who may be reactive. This is a self-service experience, as staff are not typically onsite during weekend rentals. Clear operating instructions are provided to ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit. Mostly flat terrain for easier walking. Some trails are rocky, some have alot of protruding roots, ground is uneven in areas. Vinegar and salt mixture used for a weed killer on some of the trails. You're very likely to see squirrels and deer. Occasional dog barking in the background. Sometimes neighbors mowing/ kids playing. Pretty private, but not completely isolated. You might see a car driving past. Clearing will be squishy and back trails will be muddy after it rains. Not necessary to bring poop bags, just relocate it if it ends up where you walk. Lovely creekfront space of one acre woods,metal steps to get to creek spot. Some steps are bent so be careful and swim or wand in creek at your own risk. steep areas on a hillside next to a quiet road with some level flat spots but again it’s wooded. Great for someone with a dog that loves water. Steps to access the creek. Due to changes in water level the beach area can be larger or smaller. Guests welcome to be on any part of the acre of creekfront. It is overgrown. We sometimes weed wack but the woods have no clear paths although your welcome to wander anywhere.
