Our yard gets some sunshine but also some shade from the trees lining the back of the yard, so it’s great for those warm summer days! There’s a bit of a slope to walk down into the yard, so just be aware as you enter through the gate! Your pups will love to run around the yard, while you get to sit and relax on the patio at the table and chairs! We have a bucket of dog toys for your pup to enjoy! There’s a space with dirt and sand, feel free to let your pup dig through- we don’t mind! During the warmer months you can enjoy a kiddie pool (for a small fee) or just the mist setting on the hose to cool off. Please note we do not provide towels so be sure to bring your own if you want to enjoy these amenities! If you’d like to rent at night, our patio is lit up by string lights, and we have additional motion sensor lights placed around the fence in the yard, so it’s perfect for a late night play session! We are located next to the highway, so there is some noise from traffic. Overall not very loud but occasionally there is some elevated noise levels with trucks, motorcycles, etc. Our yard is sprayed every 3 weeks for ticks and mosquitos, but there is still bug spray available to use if ever needed! We hope you enjoy!!

Welcome! Sniffspot holds a special place in my heart. My dog, Bran, is reactive and it was a life saver having a safe space to bring him and his sister, Miss Honey, to play! As an avid Sniffspot guest, I wanted to return the favor once I got a fully fenced in yard and host. My dogs love all the sniff action it brings too! This fully fenced yard with privacy fencing is just the right size to let your pup(s) safely explore, sniff, play and zoom while being able to easily keep any eye on them. No pesticides, chemicals or fertilizer are ever applied. There are areas of the yard with some bare spots and dirt but I see it as signs of love and happiness from all the pups that have come to play! **Outdoor lighting: There is a hardwired flood light that is motion activated and will remain on for 15 minute increments if not triggered by further motion. Pups moving about trigger the light so it will remain on your entire visit after dark! There are solar-powered string lights that give off a subtle glow. There are also solar-powered motion activated lights along the fence line that are also triggered by the pups. See spot photos for examples of the yard after dark!

The driveway is well marked with Sniffspot signs. Fully fenced, lightly wooded yard, about an acre. Paths around perimeter and throughout. Barn with kennels in case you need to separate dogs or get in out of the weather. Plenty of shade. The property contains many boulders, tree stumps, logs and leaves for your dog to explore, and lots of room to run. Please wear sturdy shoes or boots and watch your step. There may be roots, rocks, holes or the occasional poop hiding under the leaves. Several of our guests have seen deer on the path to the SniffSpot gate. We strongly recommend keeping your dogs leashed until you are safely inside the fenced area.

We are excited to provide an off leash play space for your furry bestie. **Winter alert: Other than a path from the driveway, the Sniffspot area is not shoveled and can be VERY icy and/or snow covered!! Conveniently located close to the Massachusetts Turnpike and Rte 84. The Sniffspot area is in a quiet residential, wooded area. There is a sportsman's club a ways down the road, and if there is an event, occasionally, the range can be audible. Most dogs have been completely unbothered by it. Last minute reservations are ok, but please understand, with minimal notice, we may not have the opportunity to completely refresh the play space. Please utilize the message option for questions and updates.

Also the yard has lots of tennis balls and soccer balls and a football and a 24-in herding ball that has multiple straps on it for playing tug of war or just using your nose to toss it in the air and Chase it all around the yard! There is one very special bush that we like to call a cave because of the way it has formed and you can go in underneath it and hide out and keep nice and cool and lay in the dirt on those hot days and there is so much space for doing your zoomies! Also lots of granite to run and climb on to keep those claws worn down so you never have to get them trimmed!
