Lovely large yard! George was very responsive, which was great because I did get a bit lost getting to the correct gate entrance. Wonderful place if your dog needs to run a lot like mine do

5/5 stars for this sniff spot! The property is in great condition with lots of grass. Although it wasn't an issue for our group, there is about a 10in wide gap in the main gate that dogs can easily fit through if your dog is an escape artist! We will for sure be back!

Such a great place! There is a reactive dog at the yard in the far left corner so be aware of that if to also have a reactive dog. We had our reactive boy on a long line and just kept him away from that area. And the sighthound girls had a blast!

Extremely spacious grassy lot, grass was well trimmed and everything felt secure for our aussie and I to play and to work on ongoing training. The provided map in the photos allowed us to find the entrance with no problem. Grateful that this space exists in the city!

What a hidden gem! This place has it all. Tons of space, lots of toys, and fun agility jumps. The fencing was secure and none of my dogs were able to escape. We'll definitely be back!

Definitely as described! Well kept space with lots of toys and equipment. Dogs surround the area but are behind fences. If your dog is okay with sound there is plenty of space to avoid being near dogs in proximity!

After our first visit with one dog to check it out and realizing what a gem of a space it is, we now enjoy bringing both dogs here allowing them the chance to run, play and learn together. It’s so much fun for us all!

If I could give this place more stars I would!! It’s so well kept and there’s no hole in the fence, which definitely gave me peace of mind! My girl loved running around which is the best thing to me. I will definitely be back!

This was exactly as advertised, and our dogs loved it! Such a nice open space for dogs to romp and play with some trees along the edge that kept our coonhound sniffing. The alley was a bit hard to find, but we had a great time. We'll be back!

We loved it here. It’s a really nice, open space that you wouldn’t necessarily expect to find in this area (big residential area). It feels pretty private and the owner has done a nice job with amenities. He has a toy chest full of dog toys and treats, agility equipment, hula hoops, dog bags, hand sanitizer… everything we needed for our play time. My dog loved running around the big yard with his friends. And we met the owner, who was super nice, and told us about his plans to improve and expand the park. Will definitely be back.

This spot was just as advertised. Our dog had a great time smelling and exploring. We will definitely be back! One thing to note if you have a reactive dog - there are other dogs visible from this lot. During our visit, a small dog that lives in the house touching back left-hand corner of the fence approached our dog. There is a fence and brush in between the lots but the dogs can (and in our case did) get snout-to-snout.

We've booked twice and weren't able to go, but finally made it and was well worth it! Our high energy 2 year old had a blast running, and our hound had lots to sniff. We will definitely be back! The shortest part of fencing was short, but the dog on the other side is small and our big pups just sniffed and moved on, so it wasn't an issue. Highly recommend!

Very nice property with lots of areas for my dogs to explore before they played, and very clean. They had a great time getting to run around and get their energy out. Also a great place to work on recall, with some distractions but none too overwhelming.

Clean great spot! Be aware if bringing smaller dogs that they can slip under the main entrance gate. Lots of toys and agility equipment

Great spot! Our boys really enjoyed the space to run & explore. Well kept & having the ability to pull into the spot was an extra plus. Host provided toys & agility equipment. (Fence has one low point with a neighboring dog but other than that, very secure) Will def book again!

Super friendly and sweet host! We loved meeting her and look forward to seeing her again and introducing our dogs. Her yard is a perfect size for our two dogs! She offered treats, balls, water (for our dogs and us), and she has a fridge if you want to keep drinks or food cold. She also has patio furniture and a table to sit at. It was a great first experience and we look forward to going back!

FAQ about our Louisville dog parks

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 94% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Louisville area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 68 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 13 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
