Come trot with us! We hope you love Tweedside as much as we do! We recently adopted a senior GSD named Bella. She’s made herself at home and has embarked on many sniffing adventures, so we decided to open up our space to all the other furry friends in need of a sniff-tastic trot! We’re located in rural upper East Stoney Creek. The total property spans around 60 acres, with an open space near the entrance and approx 1km pathway that leads to a forested space and more fields. The fields you’ll find upon entering are a distance from the road, however you will see and hear passing cars in the distance. Once you start your journey down the path, all road distractions will be out of sight. Since the property is unfenced, please be mindful if your pup is a flight risk. We’ve blocked off timeframes before 9am and between 530pm and 6pm- these are the typical times our animals take potty breaks!

***Charges are in USD*** We at BHS understand that letting your dog run and play is so important! But some dogs aren't suitable for dog parks or social areas. Our private, fully fenced half acre yard is the perfect place to let your (reactive or otherwise) dog just be a dog and get some freedom! Please check in at the front desk to get the key to the yard, and clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. There are trees providing shady areas throughout the day. If bringing back the key when we are not open, please put it in the Mailbox, located beside our Front Doors. When we are open, our receptionists will gladly take the key back from you! All the fees go directly to the animals in our case, and we are a registered charity and no-kill shelter. I have water bowls for dogs and also a box of toys for dogs to enjoy and play with! And toys are cleaned in between each visit :) I meet my clients on their first visit to show them how to use the gate so they have no issue going forward :) This spot is open only until end of October and then it's gone as we are moving to a new home.
