Joanne's 100 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Vicksburg

Fully Fenced
100 acres

Has your dog become a couch potato? Bring it on out for some good conditioning. Recommended for hunting/sporting dogs and large dogs, we have 100+ acres fenced in with 10' tall fence. Owner will need to walk with their dog (off leash of course) since sight of your dog is limited. The property includes a creek that runs across the front of the property, crop fields (currently soybeans), wooded areas, wetland, and some gentle hills. You can walk the perimeter of the fence and down many trails. It takes me about 40 minutes to walk the front part of the perimeter I cover with my dogs. There is a pond but due to the heat, it is currently covered in algae. Your dog will have access to the creek for drinking, swimming, and playing in. There are a few plastic Adirondack chairs set out for resting. Depending on the time of day, you may hear and/or see my dogs and our rental house occupants dogs. There will be no other dogs inside the fenced area when you visit. This is also in a farming area, so you may hear livestock from neighboring farms. I cannot guarantee that your dog will be clean or stick-tight free when leaving but they will have fun and be tired. This is a great spot for conditioning your upland bird dog before hunting season. No shooting or hunting on our property.

Frequently asked questions about Mendon dog parks

What types of dog parks are available in Mendon?

Mendon offers 321 diverse Sniffspot options including fully fenced dog parks, small dog parks, and dog fields. Whether you need a fully-fenced yard for a dog with poor recall, a climate-controlled indoor space, a swimming pool for hot days, or an expansive field for running, you'll find it in Mendon. Filter by fencing, size, amenities, and "fewer dogs seen/heard" to find your ideal match.

Are Mendon dog parks safe for all dog types?

Yes! Mendon Sniffspot locations are designed to accommodate every dog: energetic puppies, cautious seniors, tiny toy breeds, giant breeds, social dogs, and yes—reactive or selective dogs too. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets the exact environment they need. Whether your dog thrives with stimulation or needs calm and quiet, Mendon has 321 options to match their personality and needs.

How do I book a dog park in Mendon?

Browse 321 available Mendon dog parks, select your preferred date and time, and reserve instantly through the Sniffspot platform. Most Mendon locations offer instant booking, while some hosts prefer to approve requests. You'll receive confirmation, exact address details, and check-in instructions after booking.

When can I visit Mendon dog parks?

Sniffspot's private booking system lets you reserve Mendon dog parks based on host availability, and many operate dawn to dusk or even 24/7. Unlike public dog parks with rigid hours, you choose the exact time that works for your schedule. Check individual Mendon listings for specific availability and any seasonal considerations.

Do I need a membership for Mendon dog parks?

Sniffspot operates on a membership model with monthly or annual plans that include credits for bookings. Members get discounts at participating spots. New users can start with a 7-day free trial. Don't worry, there are no additional booking fees! Your credits cover everything.

What's the most popular dog park in Mendon?

Joanne's 100 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Vicksburg is highly rated in Mendon, known for excellent amenities and consistently positive reviews. However, the "best" park depends on your dog's needs. A reactive dog might prioritize privacy and secure fencing, while an active dog might prefer acres of running space. Browse Mendon listings to find your perfect fit.

Can I use Mendon dog parks for training?

Absolutely! Mendon dog parks are excellent for training because they're private and distraction-free. Work on recall, practice agility, socialize puppies, or help reactive dogs build confidence, all without the unpredictability of public dog parks. Many Mendon professional trainers use Sniffspot for client sessions.

Are Mendon dog parks fenced?

Many Mendon Sniffspots are fully fenced, but not all. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures if your dog doesn't have reliable recall. Listings show fencing details including height, gaps, and type so you can confirm it'll contain your escape artist. For reactive dogs who need visual barriers, look for solid fencing options.
