We’re excited to share our private 2-acre organic apple orchard with you and your dog! It is completely enclosed with a 10-foot tall fence. It’s great for dogs who love to run as well as those who need a quiet place to explore. Because our farm sits a bit off the main road, it is usually a peaceful and relaxing environment. There is occasional mud especially right after a rain. There are bee boxes located outside of the back/northern fence line (your dog will not be able to access them). Due to the nature of our property and the outdoor environment, I cannot guarantee the absence of wildlife, wildlife scat, insects, mud, fallen fruit, weather-related conditions, or other natural elements. Upon arrival, you’ll find a designated parking spot and a peaceful trail that winds around the back of the property to the park entrance. Along the way, you’ll pass our duck enclosure and pond—feel free to stop and say hi! If you'd like to feed the ducks, they love shredded lettuce or diced cucumbers (please, no bread). At the end of the trail, you’ll find a double-gated entry with a separate area for leashing and unleashing your dog safely. There are very few distractions which allows you the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful experience on mowed trails with plenty of area to investigate, and plenty of scents to stimulate your dogs sniffer.
