55Coming here has been on my wish list for almost a year and it did not disappoint! Mojo and I had a great time splashing around in the creek on a hot day. Everything was well marked / easy to find. We will be back.
P.S. Big thanks to the review who suggested bringing water shoes to enjoy the creek — that really amped up the enjoyment factor for me to get in there and play WITH him and enjoy the creek myself, vs sitting on the sidelines.Jennifer M.

55Great place for off leash play for our group of three. Fence is secure and in good repair and there’s a big tree that casts a lot of shade until pretty late in the morning. You can hear dogs barking and sheep sounds from the ranch and boarding facilities, and we have caught a glimpse of one of the livestock guardian dogs at a distance, so be aware of that if your dog is more sensitive. 55My favorite sniff spot! Secure fencing, access to a creek and an agility ring. Water and poop bags if needed. I did recently go on a Saturday and apparently there is a gun range nearby and they were shooting a lot. I was worried at first since I have 2 sound sensitive dogs.. fortunately all was good. Still my favorite spot! Feel fortunate they share this with us.Wendy S.

55Absolutely awesome! My dogs had an absolute blast. We drove from LA and it was 1000% worth it. The area is very clean and the agility equipment is a lot of fun. The dogs had fun fetching their ball and taking in the smells. We went down to the creek where the adventure continued.
Instructions to get there are very clear with signs guiding you to both the fenced areas and the creek. Can’t wait for our next visit! Mitzi Z.

55Clear signage helped us find exactly where to turn in, follow the road, and park to find the entrance! Big open spaces for our dog to run and explore. She's a little timid right now but I'm sure she'll warm up and we're looking forward to using some of the equipment available. Overall, it's a great place!Denise W.

55We absolutely love this Sniffspot! It’s hands-down our favorite place to take the dogs. The arena with the agility course is such a hit with them, and the entire property is sooo spacious there’s tons of room to run, sniff, and explore. One of our favorite parts is the creek, which is such a fun adventure for the pups (and honestly, for us too).
The drive up is beautiful and totally worth it we travel about an hour and a half each way and have even booked two weekends in a row. It rained the second time, but we still had a great time because the location is just that peaceful and well-maintained.
My Doberman is reactive and typically doesn’t do well around other dogs or people, but we’ve never had an issue here. It’s private, quiet, and gives us all peace of mind to relax and enjoy ourselves.
As a bonus my husband and I now have a little routine when we go. We stop at Lee’s Coffee (about 10 minutes before getting to the spot), and it’s such a nice way to start the visit. Highly recommend checking it out too!
Can’t wait for our next trip back!

55Karen’s spot is just gorgeous and she has thought of everything! Water, a play pen/agility area which is separate to the main paddock! Both areas are huge and fully fenced in! It’s right in the basin of the gorgeous mountains and right by the river. The views are BREATHTAKING and the sound of the river so tranquil! My dogs looove zooming around the paddock and sniffing the goats/sheep from afar! (They are out of sight and in a totally separate area! Just nice to have nearby!) It is just spectacular and serene being there. Best sniff spot in SoCal! If I could give it ten starts I would! Selina M.

55Absolutely amazing. I have two Australian cattle dogs who needed this so bad. The closed in area is perfect and it’s in a quiet secluded area. my husband and I really enjoyed walking around and looking at the stream with our dogs, next time we are bringing creek boots so we can walk our dogs out there more. Well worth the money and drive. Will be coming back for sure. Please be respectful, we made sure to clean up after our pets and stick to the areas we were allowed in. There are signs that make it really easy. I really hope this place is open for years to come. Leanne C.

55Easy parking. Host communication was great. Arena is pretty huge. I have two 90+ pound doodles and they took off running and had a blast and we had ample room for fetch. If your dog is an escape artist just watch him/her closely. My Sheepadoodle can’t fit through the arena gate but he sure was thinking about it 😂. He was intrigued by the chickens and goats. We drove almost an hour for the visit and it was worth it. Views are gorgeous and the fresh air and space was lovely. We’ll be back! Aveleigh O.

55This is an absolutely beautiful property. Since the lake was booked, we were very interested in the arena and booked that for a morning visit. We thought this would be a great spot for our two basenjis to run around and release some energy, while sniffing around within the arena. They are small and quickly found their way out. Being the curious & alert hounds that they are, they were more interested in the sights and smells outside the arena. After a few recalls, we put them back on leash and did a short walk around the arena. It truly is a great spot, and we'll book the lake again, even though the arena wasn't a fit for us. Trish D.

55We actually mixed this sniff spot with another sniff spot at the same location. Not realizing we booked the dog arena and not the lake but ended up at the lake and the host was so understanding about our mix up and our pups had the most amazing time!Rachel V.

Frequently asked questions about Moorpark dog agility parks
What do private dog agility parks in Moorpark offer that public parks don't?
Private dog agility parks in Moorpark offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for agility training and mental stimulation, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Moorpark can't guarantee any of this. With 22 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.
Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Moorpark?
Yes! Most of Moorpark's 22 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Moorpark listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.
When can puppies start visiting dog agility parks in Moorpark?
Puppies can visit Moorpark dog agility parks as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore agility training and mental stimulation without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Moorpark trainers specifically use dog agility parks for puppy development.
How do I find private dog agility parks near me in Moorpark?
Browse Moorpark's 22 dog agility parks on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Moorpark listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite All Dogs Rule! Puppy Paradise is particularly popular among Moorpark dog owners.
Can I rent dog agility parks in Moorpark by the hour?
Yes! All 22 dog agility parks in Moorpark are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Moorpark dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.
What's the difference between Sniffspot dog agility parks and public dog parks in Moorpark?
The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Moorpark mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 22 Moorpark dog agility parks give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys agility training and mental stimulation and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.
Are there indoor dog agility parks in Moorpark?
Yes! Moorpark has climate-controlled indoor dog agility parks perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Moorpark locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Moorpark weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.
How do Moorpark dog agility parks help with dog training?
Moorpark trainers love dog agility parks because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice obstacle course navigation, agility sequencing, or competition prep with equipment, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for agility training and mental stimulation.
