It’s great for dogs who love to run as well as those who need a quiet place to explore. Because our farm sits a bit off the main road, it is usually a peaceful and relaxing environment. Enjoy beautiful sunsets, trees in bloom, and our sunflower patch! There is occasional mud especially right after a rain. There are bee boxes located outside of the back/northern fence line (your dog will not be able to access them). Due to the nature of our property and the outdoor environment, I cannot guarantee the absence of wildlife, wildlife scat, insects, mud, fallen fruit, weather-related conditions, or other natural elements. Has your dog become a couch potato? Bring it on out for some good conditioning. Recommended for hunting/sporting dogs and large dogs, we have 100+ acres fenced in with 10' tall fence. Owner will need to walk with their dog (off leash of course) since sight of your dog is limited. The property includes a creek that runs across the front of the property, crop fields (currently soybeans), wooded areas, wetland, and some gentle hills. You can walk the perimeter of the fence and down many trails. It takes me about 40 minutes to walk the front part of the perimeter I cover with my dogs. There is a pond but due to the heat, it is currently covered in algae. Your dog will have access to the creek for drinking, swimming, and playing in. There are a few plastic Adirondack chairs set out for resting. Depending on the time of day, you may hear and/or see my dogs and our rental house occupants dogs. There will be no other dogs inside the fenced area when you visit. This is also in a farming area, so you may hear livestock from neighboring farms. I cannot guarantee that your dog will be clean or stick-tight free when leaving but they will have fun and be tired. This is a great spot for conditioning your upland bird dog before hunting season. No shooting or hunting on our property.

This spot was developed as a starting pen for beagles. Brush piles, food plots, and secure cover were established for rabbits. Elevated observation decks (use at your own risk) were built for dog owners to observe their dog working a running rabbit. This spot is designed for beagle use but is multi use for all breeds of dogs. This spot is located in the "country" with easy parking and access. There are very few distractions which allows you the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful experience on mowed trails with plenty of area to investigate, and plenty of scents to stimulate your dogs sniffer.
