Farmside Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Ionia

Come out and enjoy the country air at this rural site South of Ionia minutes from 96 and 66. Bring a chair and enjoy the sun or the shade of the trees. Located adjacent to a working crop and beef farm, this fully fenced half acre yard is a perfect spot to enjoy fresh air, country quiet, and the occasional farm equipment or cattle sightings. Three sides of the yard are 4’ chainlink, the fourth side is livestock fence shared with a cattle pasture that has 8” square openings. If your dog cannot abide the fence with larger openings, please choose a different Sniffspot. Because, we are adjacent to an operating farm, please help us be kind neighbors. Keep dogs on leash until secured within the fence area and if the cattle are nearby, please try to keep barking at the cattle to a minimum. Most people enjoy watching the cattle, especially in the spring with their calves. Also, make sure to park in the designated areas only to keep the main flow clear for farm traffic. We are a new Sniffspot, so we have several amenities we are excited to add, but getting a general feel for interest before further investment. Hi! We have two Australian Shepherds. An 8 year old blue merle (Elvira) and a 2 year old red merle (Roary). We are a huge dog loving family, and we'd love to welcome other floofs to our yard. ALL BREEDS WELCOME. 💕 We lived in an apartment for many years with our floofs, so we know how it is not to have your own yard for your fur kids. My family would love to allow other dogs to use our space to run and play freely. The yard has privacy fencing all around, and chances are there will already be plenty of tennis balls and other toys around. Feel free to use the pool. Hi I'm Erika, I have a Goldendoodle named Polly, our sniffspot is located just 2 blocks from downtown Marshall-exact address provided upon reservation. We have a fenced in front and back yard (which can be separated by closing the side gate if you would rather only use the backyard). Polly will be kept inside and away from windows so you and your baby can have a fun and relaxing time. There is seating with shade on the front porch and seating on the back porch that you're welcome to use. As seen in pics there is also a blue tote next to the stairs in the backyard filled with water for squirt guns (provided), my dog loves to try to catch the water from the squirt guns. Make yourself at home. There is a basket on the patio table of things like hand sanitizer, bug spray, sun screen, Band-Aids (hopefully you don't need them but they're there just to be safe). Help yourself to anything you need. A water dish will also be provided which is washed after every reservation. Puppy pool can also be freshy filled for additional charge.

The yard features a covered pavilion, a small decorative pond, a hose, and fruit trees. There is a lot to get your pup’s sniffer going- plenty of wild animals grace our spot and provide endless nose enrichment. The yard is perfect for fetch, too! We also provide another ~2 acres of non-fenced in trail/walking path into the wilderness behind the yard. Here you can walk your pet for a real nature experience. The Orchard 🍎

We’re excited to share our private 2-acre organic apple orchard with you and your dog! It is completely enclosed with a 10-foot tall fence. It’s great for dogs who love to run as well as those who need a quiet place to explore. Because our farm sits a bit off the main road, it is usually a peaceful and relaxing environment. There is occasional mud especially right after a rain. There are bee boxes located outside of the back/northern fence line (your dog will not be able to access them). Due to the nature of our orchard and the outdoor environment, I cannot guarantee the absence of wildlife, wildlife scat, insects, mud, fallen fruit, weather-related conditions, or other natural elements. Has your dog become a couch potato? Bring it on out for some good conditioning. Recommended for hunting/sporting dogs and large dogs, we have 100+ acres fenced in with 10' tall fence. Owner will need to walk with their dog (off leash of course) since sight of your dog is limited. The property includes a creek that runs across the front of the property, crop fields (currently soybeans), wooded areas, wetland, and some gentle hills. You can walk the perimeter of the fence and down many trails. It takes me about 40 minutes to walk the front part of the perimeter I cover with my dogs. There is a pond but due to the heat, it is currently covered in algae. Your dog will have access to the creek for drinking, swimming, and playing in. There are a few plastic Adirondack chairs set out for resting. Depending on the time of day, you may hear and/or see my dogs and our rental house occupants dogs. There will be no other dogs inside the fenced area when you visit. This is also in a farming area, so you may hear livestock from neighboring farms. I cannot guarantee that your dog will be clean or stick-tight free when leaving but they will have fun and be tired. This is a great spot for conditioning your upland bird dog before hunting season. No shooting or hunting on our property.

This spot was developed as a starting pen for beagles. Brush piles, food plots, and secure cover were established for rabbits. Elevated observation decks (use at your own risk) were built for dog owners to observe their dog working a running rabbit. This spot is designed for beagle use but is multi use for all breeds of dogs. This spot is located in the "country" with easy parking and access. There are very few distractions which allows you the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful experience on mowed trails with plenty of area to investigate, and plenty of scents to stimulate your dogs sniffer.
