A true off-leash adventure for dogs who love freedom and nature! Enjoy 100 acres of unfenced fields, rolling hills, and wooded trails—perfect for dogs who love to explore. You can hike on designated trails, on mowed fields or use the ponds for water training for hours with your pup(s). Our farm has: ✔️ Abundant wildlife! ✔️ Wide-open, completely unfenced land ✔️ Natural terrain with fields, hills, and trails ✔️ Ponds, streams and endless sniffing opportunities Parking & Arrival: Please park to the right of the big red barn, by the dumpster and begin walking from there. The farm sits on a very sharp curve, so use caution when entering and exiting the property. Please exit the farm by the farmhouse and only go straight (do not cross traffic as you exit). Dogs must be on leash when exiting your car and near the road. Once you are safely away from the road, dogs may be off leash for the remainder of your visit. If your dog has never been off leash, we recommend you have an airtag or a GPS collar on them. Please do not let your dog leave the designated walking areas on our farm. You will likely have the property entirely to yourself. Occasionally, you may see an older grampa (my father) working in the fields.

Willow Run Farmstead Walking Path

Enjoy the beauty of our 75 acre farm with your dog! Our walking path is approximately 6 ft wide and borders the exterior of our pasture-based farm. Most of the path has a 6 wire electric fence beside it for our cattle. There are two creeks with bridges that you can cross (with potential wet puddles). The entire farm is approximately a 35-40 minute walk depending on your pace, but you can always turn around for a shorter walk. Plenty of area for your dog to sniff and enjoy on a private walk! This sniffspot does require you to have your dog leashed at all times.

Some trails are rocky, some have alot of protruding roots, ground is uneven in areas. You're very likely to see squirrels and deer. Occasional dog barking in the background. Sometimes neighbors mowing/ kids playing. Neighbor walks her trash can down the driveway on trash day. Pretty private, but not completely isolated. You might see a car driving past. Not necessary to bring poop bags, just relocate it if it ends up where you walk. Springs for your dogs to drink from. I am a working horse farm and fields are anywhere from a smaller paddock to about 3 acres. Horses get moved around so location changes as to what is available. No climb 4'6" fencing, however there are spots a small dog can get under. Better situation for dogs that have a call back and are not gamey as I have many farm animals they could come in contact with if are not with owner. I have a toilet in the barn for use, plenty of electric outlets and water. Wash stall can also be used for hot water baths after visit. Dogs must be obedient to owners and non animal or human aggressive. You can also walk around the outside of the property on leash and go into Earleville state park land directly behind me.

We have a wooded section with paths and an open area for running. It is not fenced, so dogs will need to be trained to come when called. I would ask that you stay on the trail as we do have neighbors and some of the woods belong to them. The front of the house is fenced, the visiting dogs will not enter this area.
