Farm paradise for city dogs

Tucked away from busy suburbia your dog will get to fully unwind & breath in the country air while exploring our expansive 15acre farm. Swimming in the big river, paddling in the smaller streams & puddles, running free in a natural environment & taking in new smells. We have benches for you to sit on & unwind while watching your dog happily bounce around. As we are a farm our paddocks change from time to time & occasionally you might get to meet our friendly goats & cows or see our sheep grazing the nearby paddocks. Our paddocks and exterior fences are deer fencing. Our farm offers gentle contour, wide open spaces, long grass to bounce in, tons of exciting smells & is fully deer fenced for safety. A hose is available to clean your dog off after their adventure at the front of the stables (dogs will need to be leashed, please let us know so we can turn water on for you), gated entry with a dog waste bin in each paddock. Note - you will still need some control of your dogs as the area is very large. PLEASE ONLY STAY IN PADDOCKS COLOURED BLUE, LILAC, HOT PINK, PURPLE. DO NOT ACCESS OTHER PADDOCKS - a map will be provided upon booking so please keep an eye out for it in your emails/messages. Alex from Tautahi K9s (a retired Canine USAR search specialist) has developed this Confidence course with this in mind - ideal for those looking to develop their working dogs or sport dogs, or for companion animals needing to be challenged. Set in a rural holding in the Franklin area, this is an ideal place to work or exercise with your dog. It is being constantly extended, with new structures being developed in the future, so book your place for a unique opportunity to develop that special bond of trust with your k9 star. BarkPark is a 20 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Buckland

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD BarkPark is a 20 acre working farm with a mixture of rolling hills and flat paddocks. Walk through the native bush where wood pigeons and tui fly. Native ferns frame the creeks running through the bush. There are plenty of picnic spots under large Totara trees where you can sit and watch your dog have a swim in the pond. On your journey you will see cattle, geese, ducks, turkeys, pukako, rabbits and native birds, and carp in the pond. The entire time will be for you and your dog as each session is pre booked for a specific time slot. We have 3 spoilt dogs which will be indoors for your visit and aviaries with parrots which will hear as you drive past the house up the farm track to commence your journey.

5 Acre wilderness, Private Dog Park In Alfriston, Auckland

Reduced operating hours: Our opening hours will be reduced for 2026 now that the horses have returned, allowing us time to enjoy the property as well, but please feel free to message me as we might be able to accommodate you still on blocked out days. A great location for both owners and dogs to unwind, featuring a creek bordered by native trees that have stood for centuries. There are park benches available for you to sit back and relax and a dedicated area for your dogs to swim and cool off on a hot summers day. The main big creek has water all year round. Notes for guests to be aware of: The bank next to the creek has several steep slopes that drop down to the water, so please exercise caution if you have children with you. Unfortunately we no longer provide a consistent supply of dog toys as they all go missing, sometimes the same day they are put out! There will be toys out on the odd occasion and we usually provide a good stack of sticks for dogs to enjoy but otherwise feel free to bring your dogs favourite toy with you 🙂 IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD.

Our spot features open grassy space with mown walking tracks, mature pine trees for shade, natural logs for climbing, and a creek/pond that water-loving dogs will enjoy exploring. It’s a peaceful country setting with plenty of room for zoomies, sniffing, splashing and adventuring. There is off-street parking available. As the entrance is on a busier road, you’re welcome to open the gate and pull fully into the property before letting your dog out of the car so you can unload safely. The two paddocks available for Sniffspot guests are completely separate from the house, giving you privacy and a quiet space to enjoy your visit without interruption. You will have the paddock to yourself during your booking time.
