The fenced in part of the yard and the fenced in pool are both amazing - lovely view, quiet area, private. It took me a minute to realize the yard and pool were fenced in separately - my dog is a runner so I walked her from one area to the other on leash. Thank you so much, it was a great afternoon!

We had an absolute blast!! The property is beautiful, clean, the pool was the perfect temperature and Coco our chocolate lab had the best time. Danielle was extremely accommodating and communicative. Her written instructions were very clear but she still patiently helped me locate the gate to the pool haha! We loved this pool party, beautiful drive and we will be back soon. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful neighborhood with mountain views, felt safe and beautiful front yard, so much space for dogs to run! Trees with shade helped on a hot day. Some toys around for dogs to use! Overall great choice.

Lovely, clean spot with plenty of room to run! Our pups LOVED it. We used the gate by the drive. Note that the left side of the double gate is what opens. We saw a few dogs being walked (plus a border collie across the street running free). Our dogs were curious but the dogs were far enough away that they didn’t pose an issue. We enjoyed the view and lovely shade trees. We will definitely return here!

We had a great time getting some exercise for the dogs and letting Gus run free! After an additional walk in Franklin Park, the dogs are beat!

FAQ about our Purcellville dog hiking trails

Are dog hiking trails safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than a city or county park. With a Sniffspot off-leash area all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. Our hiking trails tend to be outside the city, which lends to more privacy, but it is also important to follow typical hiking safety precautions, such as potentially having trail maps.
