Another fun visit for my dog. She played so hard that she quickly got comfy and took a nap once we got home.

Susan the owner is lovely. The property is beautiful, so well kept and manicured lawn. Super secure and safe fencing. The owner puts out fresh cold water and there are tons of places to sit if you come with a friend or two. I wish I had found this site and property sooner my dog loves going there now!

We had a great time! The gate was open for us when we arrived and there was fresh water for the dogs. There were toys and hand wipes. The street is very quiet and you can park your car right next to the yard. I’d definitely come back 😊

This is a dream play spot for a dog. Lots of room to run and plenty of things to sniff and explore. My pup loved it! We will be back and would highly recommend to others.

Yina's yard is really good! It was big with lots of spots to sniff and dig in. I got my foster here and he was obsessed with bones and toys available. He ultimately dug holes and hid the bones in the yard. It's also in a quiet area. The host was very communicative and helpful, despite my tardiness. Definitely recommend coming here

So thrilled to find this space in my neighborhood of JP, just enough room for my dog to run and play and get some safe outdoor time. Nice selection of seats for the humans to sit on, and I also appreciate the big water bowl.

A nice little space that’s very conveniently located, for me at least. About as much space as you can ask for in the city! A nice spot for the humans to sit and hang out, as well.

Great spot! Host was super friendly and provided driveway parking. The spot was fenced and the street was very quiet so our little nugget had a blast exploring. There is a beach about a block away but dogs aren't allowed from June 1 - September 1 (but we could just hide our small dog in a purse lol). Great spot! We'll definitely be back!

Great little spot with access to bunch of toys! Area is completely fenced, so I was able to let Archie run around. Fairly quiet neighborhood; minimal street traffic during the day.

Great communication with the host; the yard and fence look like they have all been newly done and it’s clear a lot to care has been taken with it. Great to have a sizable backyard right in Brookline! We will be back to experience it.

Super clean and spacious yard. Thank you for letting us have some fun with our husky. They have some toys for the dogs to play with. Easy access!

Very clean, well maintained yard. Not large but plenty of space for a small to medium dog to run around and play fetch, or a larger dog who likes to sniff around. The host gave clear directions and also left a bin of balls and toys, which was much appreciated. We did hear the host's dogs bark a few times, and my pup stopped to listen, but it seemed far enough away to ignore. It would only be a problem if a dog were very reactive. I will definitely book this spot again!

I would give this 10 stars if I could. Perfect oasis for my two frenchies. Definitely going to come back many more times since I only live a mile away.!
What other types of private dog parks are available?
Dog water parks
Many hosts have added water features like pools and/or are nearby lakes or rivers.
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 0% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Quincy area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 155 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 22 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
