10 Acre Field + Woods to Explore!

Unfenced
70 acres

I have a 10 acre field (with some pretty nice views) + 60 acres of woods that I'd love to share. Right now the woods are in a pretty natural state (the trails aren't groomed & are in the process of being maintained) so depends on your adventure-ability whether you want to venture that way. There is a brook about 0.7 miles from the parking spot though! My dogs love it. But the field is great for getting a full sprint going or ball toss, etc. My dogs are visible from some areas of the field. If you would prefer not to see other dogs, please plan on walking the back woods with your dog(s). The field is fine to drive on - you'd pull in and drive along the left edge to the back where there is a gap in the rock walk and pick up the trails from there. Please do not park in the driveway - instead, pull off on the side of the road (please make sure you are fully off the road) on the grass or turn into the field a bit and park along the white fence

Frequently asked questions about Readfield dog water parks

What amenities do Readfield dog water parks typically include?

Readfield dog water parks feature amenities designed for swimming and water play: river, stream or creek, lake or pond, beach, swimming pool, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Readfield hosts customize their spaces. Browse 16 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

Can I find dog water parks in Readfield with water access?

Many Readfield dog water parks include water features! Filter by amenities to find swimming pools, natural ponds, or water play areas. Water is perfect for hot Readfield days, water-loving breeds, or low-impact exercise for seniors and disabled dogs. Each listing specifies water type, depth, and safety features. Some Readfield hosts provide life vests or shallow options for nervous swimmers.

How clean are private dog water parks in Readfield compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Readfield see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog water parks have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Readfield hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Readfield dog water parks on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Readfield dog water parks offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Readfield private dog water parks let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog water parks in Readfield?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Readfield that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Readfield dog water parks have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Readfield dog water parks allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Readfield dog water parks welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Readfield where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Readfield dog water parks for special events?

Many Readfield dog water parks welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Readfield hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Readfield dog water park listings for event policies.

How do Readfield dog water parks accommodate dogs with special needs?

Readfield dog water parks are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Readfield special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
