55It was way way better than we expected! We will definitely come back soon. We live in the city and do not get to explore nature like this without worrying about cars and random crowds. The rapeseed flower field is absolutely stunning and playing in the river is so relaxing. My dog had such a blast. :) Emily Y.

Robin was very helpful in showing us the path since this was our first time. You could drive a good part of the way there or if you want, it would be a nice path to walk the dog too. We drove this time. This location has everything a dog could ever want: grass, sand, water, and trees. Our dogs loved hanging out by the river and splashing in the water. Dog heaven!
55Great experience! We were met at the Tiny House and given instructions on how to get down to the river. Our chocolate lab absolutely loved splashing around in the river and our two young kiddos loved collecting river rocks and having a snack on the shore. We will definitely come back again. Lisa G.

We enjoyed running through the field on our way to the river. The beach is pretty rocky, but that didn’t stop our pup or us from having a blast - he did a little swimming and running in the water. We highly recommend this spot and look forward to our next visit soon.

My family, especially our dog, loved our visit to PaJo Ranch. It was a beautiful spring day and the wild mustard what in full bloom in the field. We enjoyed running through the field on our way to the river. The beach is pretty rocky, but that didn’t stop our pup or us from having a blast - he did a little swimming and running in the water. We highly recommend this spot and look forward to our next visit soon.

55Super beautiful, incredible spot. So much to explore! The first area is a huge crop field. In the Spring and Summer it's super pretty with everything in bloom, all sorts of little yellow flowers...really gorgeous. Once you make your way around the crop field, you'll find the trailhead on the left. The trails are in a wooded area and we have a blast running around checking things out. Cooper loves rolling around in the grass and sniffing about. On the other side of the wooded area is the river. It's amazing...incredibly beautiful. Cooper splashes and swims and digs and has the time of his life. We've been here many times and every time is better than the time before. I really enjoy the solitude. Outside of some people far away on the other side of the river and some birds, we've never seen another living creature. Susan D.

PaJo Ranch is THE BEST. This is our fifth or sixth visit. It is a wonderful retreat away from the city for our VERY reactive shepherd mix. Our girl is reactive to just about everything, but our visits to PaJo Ranch have really helped her build her confidence bit-by-bit. This is really the only place she can "be a dog" and we LOVE it here.

She greeted us as we drove in and led us to a field where we could park in a quiet spot, away from my dog's triggers. The path down to Skykomish River is super fun for the dogs! Lots of tall grasses to jump and skip through. Great place to practice your recall ;) Definitely wear long pants and boots. And bring a towel and water for the dogs. They'll have fun getting their paws muddy from all the romping and they'll be thirsty from running! We would definitely like to come back!

My pups had an amazing time running through the fields, sniffing around and exploring the woods and swimming in the river! I parked at the house and walked them on a leash back to the field. I took them off the leash at the field and let them run. They both have decent recall, if they hadn't had good recall I would have kept them on leash until I got to the wooded area. I think it would be better in the future for me to drive down to the field and park my car there, because there is a decent amount of activity at the house (people, dogs, sheep and a lumber area). It's pretty easy to drive down to the field and I think it would also be doable to drive all the way to the woods if it's dry. I would recommend bringing boots if it is wet.
