Scott Creek meanders through the property. The creek flows year-round—its levels dip in summer—and there are several spots where pups can wade and cool off on warm days. Please note: the creek is not fenced at both ends. Our field is pesticide-free and treated with organic diatomaceous earth in early spring and late fall to sanitize and keep it free of pests. The creekside can be muddy during winter, but most of the property—especially the upper fields—remains dry year-round. As lifelong dog lovers, we created this space because our own beloved senior dogs have reached the stage where they prefer naps over chasing balls. We'd love to share their once-busy playground with new puppy friends and energetic dogs looking for a safe place to run, play, and make happy memories. Hi yall, We hope you’ll enjoy our back yard as much as our dogs do. My wife and I run and manage our spot. Our area here is in a small neighborhood with little to no traffic. You can access the entrance through the left side of the house. Just push the gate and it should open easily. As for parking there is a guest area right in front of the house but the drive way can be used to park if there is no parking available. There will be a smaller little fence that can be closed but you can leave it open as well. We will provide some toys and of course balls so you can play with your dogs free of charge. We additionally have snacks and water if needed. There are poop bags as well. You can find these items on the deck and please feel free to sit down and enjoy a nice seat. Our back yard will have trees with plenty of shade and a large area for the dogs to run around. Some areas of the yard are muddy but it is mostly grassy. If you head down to the property you will find a stream with a sandy beach and an old bench. The stream is only accessible through our property but not fully fenced off due to the running water. But it is a secluded area where your dogs will not be able to run off.

The yard is about a quarter acre, conveniently located about a half mile from the 1-205. The property is fully fenced and has a privacy screen covering most of the fence for extra security. It’s a good space for fetch, frisbee, or just enjoying being outside and sniffing. The yard is mostly grass with a few larger patches of dirt. I don’t mind some digging in the dirt areas, as we have some diggers in our pack as well. We have a couple seating areas to enjoy and sit with your group on the outdoor couches, or chairs by the water jug to keep an eye on your pup(s). We also have a cutie tree house where they can go and watch the birds or just enjoy a different view while being there. When arriving to the property, feel free to park on the left side of the house in front of the fence. When entering the first gate, you might hear my dobie Bruce bark (I take it as an excited hello lol) as you make your way to the second gate that opens to the yard. Once inside the yard, you’ll never see other dogs or people, but we have lots of neighbor dogs that bark to each other in the area - just a head’s up in case your dog(s) are easily triggered by that. We offer a dedicated 10 acre sloped pasture for walking, running, ball play, etc. also a trail hike through the woods a total of a mile. (Be aware of uneven ground and blackberries; some thorns in mulch). The 30-acre property is fenced and isolated private space. The gate to the road is open for access but a good distance from the fields (so not closed while visiting.). The farm is a working farm so you may see workers and equipment away from the dedicated dog areas. Yes, part of our property has neighbors along the trail but fencing is in place and neighbors are seldom around. Water for dogs, trash can for baggies, picnic table and dog toys are provided. There are livestock fenced off from the trail, and some electric & electric mesh fences are in use.

Please monitor your dogs and clean up any messes. Extra waste bags are available in the old milk box next to the porch steps. Credits are given to good samaritans for helping with missed piles! Absolutely no digging is allowed. Please do not allow your dog to dig holes. Private areas: the house including the porch, and wrap around garden. If not working properly, blue yard hydrant handle should always be open (up) in summer months. Park area is east of the driveway then the grass wraps around back of the house. Mulch and bark pathways keep paws comfortable and the ground manageable even in wetter months. It's a great space for a game of fetch, a casual sniff session, or just letting your dog decompress off-leash in a contained setting. The varied terrain adds a little natural adventure to every visit. We also offer an on leash trail to use while on the property. A heads up: The Overlook sits adjacent to a busy road, so there is noticeable traffic noise. The 6-foot fencing keeps your dog completely safe and secure, but if your pup is sensitive to road sounds, our other space — The Meadow — may be a better fit.
