Nature in the City Private Dog Park

Fully Fenced
1.5 acres

Welcome to Nature in the City! Your Private Dog Park Escape Looking for more than just a fenced-in field? Nature in the City is a one of a kind private dog park where you and your pup(s) can enjoy the freedom of nature without ever leaving the city. Spread across 1.5 acres of secure, fully fenced natural land, our park offers a true nature adventure for dogs of all sizes. Explore winding wooded trails, native vegetation, a field perfect for fetch with ropes, discs, or toys, and a serene wetland area where healthy little Chicken Creek flows gently through the center. With water that’s never more than a foot deep, pups can safely splash, sip, and cool off. Here, every visit is more than exercise, it’s a sensory adventure. With endless new scents, sights, and textures, your dog will love the chance to explore, sniff, and roam off-leash in a safe contained environment. It’s also the perfect setting to practice recall while letting your pup enjoy the freedom of open space. ✨ Why guests love us: • A true “nature park” experience, right in the city. • Fully fenced and secure, even for small dogs. • A mix of landscapes: open field, forest, creek, wetland, and trails. • Three charming bridges spanning the creek. • Private bookings mean no surprise dog encounters. •. Amenities for dogs AND their humans! If you and your dog crave more than a standard dog park, Nature in the City is the perfect escape for adventure, relaxation, and play! ⚠️ A quick note: Some trails have gentle slopes or steeper spots, so guests with limited mobility may prefer our flatter areas. ⚠️ And while our field is great for fetch with toys or discs, IT’S NOT DESIGNED FOR BALL THROWING due to the surrounding natural brush. ⚠️ Our spot’s conditions change naturally throughout the year depending on the season and weather. It gets muddy when it’s raining and dusty during the Summer months. ⚠️ Our trails and blackberry bushes are regularly maintained and cut back, although the property intentionally retains its natural vegetation and wooded character. Our creek is also a natural creek, so its water level and conditions can vary seasonally. Think of our spot like going on a secure mini hike in the Gorge! We’re always making improvements at Nature in the City, so you may notice new touches each time you visit! Amenities include: • Covered rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs (extra chairs available on request) • Supplies for your convenience: dog toys, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, sunscreen, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit & even a cornhole game • Complimentary snacks & beverages for both pups AND their humans. • Outdoor seating: 2 zero-gravity recliners, a kid-sized picnic table, a round table with umbrella & 4 chairs, and a couple park benches placed throughout the park. • Fresh drinking water for your dogs • Mix of sunny open spaces and shady spots under mature trees Safety & Security: • Fully fenced with 5–6 ft fencing, carefully inspected and maintained • Private and secure environment for worry-free off-leash play Extra Features: • Night lighting: As of Sept. 2025, we’ve added additional flood lights that softly illuminate the entryway, main field, main trail, and supply shelter for about 4 hours after dark. Perfect for evening visits! ➡️ For deeper trail exploring after dark, we recommend collar lights for your pups and a headlamp or flashlight 🔦 for you. • Seasonal Note (March–September): Baby bunnies 🐰 may be nesting on the property. They’re usually well-hidden, but if your pup uncovers a nest, please cover it back up. If you see a baby wander out, gently place it back and redirect your dog. The bunnies have no scent, which helps protect them from predators, so dogs usually don’t notice them unless they spot movement. • 🌧️ Weather Reminder: Areas get muddy in rainy weather. We’ve added wood chips in many spots to help, but we recommend hiking boots 🥾 and dressing accordingly so you and your pup can fully enjoy your adventure. **🐶 Fosters and Shelter Dogs visit for free! - If you have a foster dog or are taking a shelter dog out for an adventure please let us know prior to booking! 🩵 ‼️ Please double-check your booking DATE and TIME before entering our spot to make sure you’re here during the correct day & time. We’ve had a few guests show up on the wrong day and enter the park when another guest was there (during their correct booking). This is IMPORTANT to avoid potential negative dog encounters. Thank you. We can’t wait to welcome you and your pups for a safe, fun, and relaxing nature escape! 🐾

Private Dog Park by the Creek

Partially Fenced
1 acre

Private Dog Park on 1+ Acres Near Mt. Scott Creek IMPORTANT: Fresh tap water is not available in the dog field across the creek, and water bowls are not provided. If you prefer that your dog not drink from the creek, please bring your own drinking water and bowl. Just five minutes from Clackamas Town Center, our one-acre field offers plenty of open space, rolling hills, and access to peaceful Mt. Scott Creek. The creek flows year-round, although the water level drops during summer, and several areas allow dogs to wade and cool off on warm days. Please be aware that the creek is not fenced at either end, so this spot may not be suitable for dogs likely to follow the creek beyond the property. We do not use conventional chemical pesticides. The field is treated with organic diatomaceous earth in early spring and late fall to help control pests. The creekside can become muddy during winter, but most of the property—especially the upper fields—remains dry throughout the year. Please bring: • Drinking water for your dog • Your own water bowl • A towel during wet or muddy weather Because the property is large, dog waste can easily be missed. Please keep track of where your dog goes and pick up all waste after. Complimentary waste bags are provided, with one trash bin near the creek and another in the upper field. Tail Waggers private dog park

Unfenced
15 acres

Your attendance has allowed us to continue development of our Disney Land for dogs and being a contributor to the Portland Humane Society. Toward that end this is what we have to offer at present with more to come. Two main walking trails, with two offshoot trail loops at present. Signage is there at each to help you in and out of each. Each has a selection of walking sticks at the trailhead, should you choose to use them. Appropriate good grip footwear is recommended especially during our monsoon season. Trail one, the shorter of the two, is about 25 minutes give or take, and takes a degree of dexterity more than trail too. Trail two contains two loops trails that take 30 to 45 minutes there and back to the parking area. The trail has two rest areas to sit with umbrellas to keep the rain off when needed. Trail 2, loop two has large Vern plant areas like you may have seen in the Jurassic Park movies. There are (2) Two parking areas, one much larger for up to 25 cars to accommodate larger group events. The 2nd is at the top of the hill b4 you go down into valley were you will see a sign letting you know that if your early you can park there till your designated reservation time. At the bottom you will find a porta potty for your convenience with a lighted pathway after the sun has set. For your convenience you will find seven Poop Depots with bag dispensers throughout the park. A guest ( Mark) donated a fire hydrant as a much appreciated pee station for many pups. There are two water play areas. The preferable one is now down by our inlet water pipes. Its a shallow pool area feed by spring water, so there is no concern about algae. We call it the pup self wash area because it’s only belly deep and is an absolute favorite of the pups to play in. It’s also proved to help pups who might be afraid or timid of playing in water to investigate it a little more. The other is the larger man-made pond area. This at one time was a large beautiful pond, that we had invested a large amount of money to development a Doggie Dock Dive. We had also a selection of small watercraft to help acclimate pups to being on the water with a parent. It included a selection of different size lifejackets for parents and pups. Floatable toys for retrieval were nearby. All that however became unusable because our neighbor who controls the water level with a dam did not like us having a private dog park and said if we didn’t shut it down he would just empty the pond, which he ultimately did and mow as a result has become a mud flat. We have a solution that will bring the level back up and have set up a Go Fund Me to help us with that expense. Any donation would receive a gift certificate to show our appreciation. They can use it for their own use or it can be given to a non Sniff Spot member to use at our park for various functions. Our Muddy Paw Spa has multiple cleaning brushes, paw wash cups, a spray hose and the more favorite is a water spray wash glove that sprays water out of the palm of the glove. This is an important option especially during our monsoon season to clean pups and shoes before getting into the car. Included, are multiple towels to dry off your pup, and a close line to hang the wet towels on to dry off. In the area where you see all the picnic tables, you will see a Doggie Dig Box filled with beach sand for those pups who have the need to just dig. Near to that is an upright 50 Pd “Tug of War” that big pups love. Next is a childrens play area to play in and on. We installed a tetherball for the children, but soon learned that the pups love playing with it, who would have guessed? Down from the children’s play area is a comprehensive agility course with all the obstacles that you would see on the YouTube obstacle course events. Love seeing the pups racing around that. Multiple toy stations. If on your visit, you would like to donate unused toys for other pups to enjoy that would certainly be appreciated. A long mowed area above the pond for long distance ball and frisbee retrieval. They’re also a few frisbee catchers there to practice frisbee throwing accuracy. Long, medium range and putter frisbees are provided. A 10 x 10 doggy dig sandbox for those pups to enjoy digging. A tug-of-war for those pups will enjoy a good tug. The picnic area has been expanded to accommodate pup, birthday parties, pup, groups, and family gatherings. For those bringing young children, a swingset. Solar lighting around trees, parking area and the porta potty will help to illuminate these areas when darkness falls. There are water dispensers with water bowls. There is another area being developed presently that will become an urban agility course.

Fully Fenced
0.5 acres

AS YOU KNOW, WE TRY HARD TO KEEP THE PARKS UPDATED AND COMFORTABLE FOR EVERYONE, TWO AND FOUR FOOTED. THANKS FOR YOUR LOYALTY AND SUPPORT! WE APPRECIATE IT! OPEN SUNUP TO 10P NIGHTLY! VERY IMPORTANT!!! EACH PARK (F1 AND F2) HAS A SEPARATE ENTRANCE AND DRIVEWAY WITH THE SAME ADDRESS. SO, YOU MUST READ THE SPECIFIC DRIVING DIRECTIONS INTO EACH PARK. PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS TOO IF THEY'RE MEETING YOU HERE. THANK YOU!!! upon entering into either park, you won't be able to see people or dogs in F2 while you are in F1. Proud to be Sniffspots most popular park(s) with the most reviews. Read about us in the February 27, 2024 issue of Newsweek magazine, June 5, 2023 issue of Womens World Magazine, and the Business Insider's June 9, 2022 articles. You and your pups will love our very artistic boho farm! Mud free paved entrance and patio, extra picnic table, chairs and tables, swing, toys, night lighting til 10pm, light up collars/leashes upon request, disc golf basket, clean porta potty access, doggie poop bags hanging all around the field w/disposal cans! There's alot more to the 7 1/2 acre farm that makes it very unique. it's sort of like a rural "Portlandia". We've hosted dozens of weddings, parties, concerts, and reunions here in the past. So, just ask if you'd also be interested in using the farm for your own special event! We've had tons of doggie play date and birthday parties here. Just inquire first letting me know how many cars there'd be. If too many cars for F1, then F2 will work out during dry months, as you can drive your cars right into the field. Hope to see you and your pups playing out here soon! We try very hard to remain the #1 spot between both parks, globally. Thank you for helping us achieve that by continuing to support us!! Combined we are now almost 6K reviews!

We enjoy our peaceful, scenic, 2.8 acres with our Doberman's Piper and Cassius. We are 35 minutes from Fremont Bridge, on Hwy 30. I thought others may enjoy our property with their dog as much as we do with ours. As you pull off Columbia River Hwy (hwy 30) towards the Warren Country Inn restaurant (56575 Columbia river hwy, warren, Or 97053) stay left towards the guard rail. You will see a dead-end road sign with a purple Sniffspot sign underneath it. This is our driveway. Follow and stay left up the hill past the neighbors barn. Follow road as it turns right. Our property has the 2-story gold house on it. You will see on your left a green sign with our address 56441. We have a new parking area. Follow driveway up towards the gold house. You will park straight ahead by the wood/leaf pile, to left of the orchard. The unfenced, large, mowed field to the that you drove thru is yours to enjoy and is only part of the 2.8 acres you get to play in. There is a picnic table under the trees behind you. Feel free to use this. Look to the far right (facing the house) and you will see a 6-foot chain link fence. Walk across the field or yard and you will see the chain link gate. Inside of this area is a fully fenced, 5 to 6 feet tall area to train or play. This area is about 100 ft by 50 ft wide. Inside of the chain link area is an agility jump, large container of chuck its, tugs, other toys and orange cones for dog training. There is also a water bowl with water that will be cleaned between guests. When it is hot out, I will have a kiddie pool with water so your dogs can cool down. There are 2 chairs & a covered area to sit in when in the fenced area. Feel free to bring whatever you would like to play with to the big grass field area to enjoy. We would appreciate it if you can put it back inside the fenced area when you are finished with the items. If you continue to the left of the chain link entrance, you will see several steps down to the seasonal stream. It’s either a pond or a stream. We just damned it again, there is minimal water in warmer months. It fills up when it rains more. Feel free to let your dog explore this area. The mud is soft. From the steam continue to the left and follow the stream. When you get to the tall trees straight ahead there will be a box of poop bags, next to the seasonal stream. Our neighbor’s property is behind these bags on the right in the green house. So go left up the hill towards the orchard. Feel free to pick a couple apples during the fall. This will get you to the front, by the picnic table and you will be able to see your car from this side of the orchard. Unfortunately, there are no restrooms on site, however as you will pass the Warren Country Inn as you get to our dead end road. You can go there during business hours to use their bathroom. Or grab something to go to eat on our picnic table. We have an added attraction of moles. My Dobie loves trying to find them. Beware of holes that we may have missed filling in between guests. If the ball or toy goes over the fence to our neighbor’s yard, just leave it there. If you can shoot me a text to tell me the general area that it went to then I can grab it later. Please pick up after yourself and your dog. No smoking or vaping please. No drugs or alcohol. Please no glass. Enjoy Your stay and let me know if you have any questions. I can take a pic to sent you with the status of the creek/pond since it fluctuates so much.

15 Acres Mostly Fenced Open Field In La Center

Partially Fenced
15 acres

This 15+ acres of hay field is mostly fenced, with an opening at the top. If you choose, there is a path along the outside that leads to a creek(unfenced) to the right at the field. There are dogs at the front of the property, which are fenced in. There is possibility of hearing barking from them or neighbors. The students are instructed to leave you alone. Off road parking, I will give clear directions before arrival. Come roam around a huge open space! Bring a ball or just have a sniff party! *Electric Fence surrounds the horse pasture - which you must pass to get to the sniff spot* Please keep to the designated sniff spot area, the top field and barn area is NOT open to the public. Any equipment in the area, including dog agility equipment, is NOT for public use. Please take your waste with you or dispose of it properly!

Green Acres Homestead 1 Acre Sniffspot

Fully Fenced
1 acre

Welcome to Green Acres Homestead! Discover acres of adventure on our fully fenced pasture, complete with a seasonal creek and a peaceful pond — perfect for dogs to run, splash, and explore. Nestled on a charming farm beside Green Acres K9 Resort (a dog boarding and daycare facility), our play space offers a secure and refreshing retreat for your pups, whether they're visiting for playtime or boarding nearby. Getting here: Please watch for our Sniffspot signs and follow them carefully (you should never have to leave the gravel driveway and for that matter, please don’t) to the designated play area. You're encouraged to park all the way at the end of the driveway, in front of the fence. Visitor limit: We cap each visit at 4 dogs and 2 adults unless arranged with us ahead of time. This space is meant for you and your own dogs to enjoy — not for dog gatherings, parties, or commercial dog handlers bringing client dogs. Reality check: Most visitors already know what to expect and love bringing their dogs here — but for anyone less familiar with farm life, we want to be upfront about the environment you'll experience. It's very likely you may: Hear a dog barking from the boarding facility See a farmer working Share a fence line with livestock (yes, you can say hello!) Find mud in the wet season, and no creek in the dry season See algae in the pond when the water isn't flowing, and weeds in the field Notice some weeds or pokey plants — we mow to keep the main field clear of blackberries and weeds, but can't guarantee a weed-free space Be in true nature — the creek and pond are spring-fed, but there's always a chance of picking something up outdoors Watch your dog dig and carry sticks and rocks — just be aware there may be holes, sticks, or rocks around Use the dock at your own risk — it holds my family with no problem, but makes no promises for anyone else; you're welcome to use it with your own judgment Encounter a pond with gradual sloping sides over half its edge, but steeper drop-offs in some sections Post a photo of your dog's vaccination records to the chat before your first visit — this only needs to be done once (until they expire). Keeping our space healthy is critical to us; illnesses like Parvo can be extremely dangerous to dogs and can linger in the soil for as long as several years which is a very long time once introduced. We never want to discourage anyone from enjoying this place the way we do — we just want your expectations to match reality. We look forward to seeing you here soon!

Nehemiah lane dog farm

Unfenced
30 acres

The property includes 30 unfenced acres of tall grass, trees, and quiet trails. The main trail makes up the perimeter of the property. It is 1 mile long and you will need to traverse underneath the bridge to Accsess the second half. There is limited access to the Yamhill River on both sides of the bridge. Some areas will be swampy during the winter and spring, especially in the lower sections. Please be aware of common forest hazards such as blackberry bushes, poison oak, nettles, and the occasional downed tree. There are no homes, restrooms or residents on the property only neighbors and a small garden area. You are welcome to explore both sides of the bridge. While there are "No Trespassing" signs posted near it, they are only intended to discourage the local homeless community. During the summer and fall, feel free to enjoy the fruit growing throughout the property most of which is at the far NW end of the grass road near the entrance. Deer and a variety of birds also call this place home and are best left undisturbed. You will find a couple of chairs and a small table set out for you to enjoy a quiet moment or watch the sunset. Please be respectful of our neighbors and remember to pick up after yourself and your dogs. Much of the property is being reforested in partnership with the USDA. / NRCS and is intentionally wild. If you bring kids feel free to use the swings at your own risk. Have a great time, Joshua

Please reserve your time a minimum of an hour ahead of time. We are a working farm and can't always be checking the app. We have logging roads and fields open to dog owners. Enjoy our scenic 120-acre farm with your puppies. Please feel free to leave a review. The landscape is unmanicured and slightly wild with quail, rabbits, and deer frequenting the area daily. A new forest has been planted, and the baby trees we ask to be left at peace to grow. We might be out working somewhere else on the farm and hope to see the blackberries slowly diminish, making this place more hospitable every year.

55What a fun unique space. We enjoyed an evening adventure in the dark and really enjoyed the variety in the terrain. It added interest for our pups to practice running ahead on the trails with volunteer check ins and lots to explore. Lots of fun.

55This place exceeded my expectations- my dog and I both loved it. Very spacious and perfect for curious dogs, my dog got the zoomies from excitement and her happiness made me so happy. I am definitely booking again. They have dog treats, as well as a variety of snacks for humans too. This spot was so, so cute and I highly recommend to anyone who has a reactive dog (or not). There were no other animals in sight during our visit which was so nice to not have to worry about/stress out my dog. I love this place so so much!

Frequently asked questions about Timber dog water parks

Where can I find dog water parks in Timber?

Timber has 43 private dog water parks available through Sniffspot, offering swimming and water play in completely private settings. These locations range from compact spaces to properties spanning 150+ acres. Whether you need a space for your reactive dog, puppy socialization, senior dog gentle exercise, or high-energy play, Timber dog water parks provide safe, private environments. Filter for "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, or fencing types to find your perfect match.

How many dog water parks are in Timber?

Timber offers 43 dog water parks ranging from compact spaces to properties spanning acres. You'll find options such as dog swimming pool, dog beach, fully fenced dog park, and more. Each Timber dog water park listing shows detailed photos, amenities, fencing specs, and reviews from local dog owners.

Are Timber dog water parks good for all dog types?

Yes! Timber dog water parks work for every dog: puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel safer without large breeds, high-energy dogs requiring space, and reactive or anxious dogs needing privacy. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets the environment they need. Browse Timber's 43 options to find spaces matching your dog's specific temperament and needs.

Will I encounter other dogs at Timber dog water parks?

Not a chance. Timber dog water parks operate on a strict one-booking-at-a-time system, so the space is entirely yours during your reserved slot. Host dogs are kept away, and there's a mandatory 30-minute buffer between bookings—meaning you won't cross paths with the previous or next guest. For Timber owners with reactive dogs, puppies, or any dog needing privacy, this makes all the difference in providing safe, stress-free exercise.

Are Timber dog water parks safe for fearful or anxious dogs?

Yes! Timber dog water parks provide controlled, predictable environments without the chaos of public dog parks. Since bookings are completely private with 30-minute buffers, anxious dogs can explore a facility featuring pools, splash pads, or water play areas specifically designed for dogs to swim and cool off without overwhelming encounters. Many Timber dog owners specifically choose dog water parks for fearful dogs who need gentle, stress-free exercise environments.

Can puppies use Timber dog water parks?

Absolutely! Timber dog water parks are excellent for puppy socialization because they're private and controlled. Puppies can explore a facility featuring pools, splash pads, or water play areas specifically designed for dogs to swim and cool off, practice recall, and build confidence without the overwhelming chaos that can create fear or reactivity in young dogs. Just ensure your puppy has age-appropriate vaccinations before visiting.

How do I choose the best dog water park in Timber?

Start by filtering Timber's 43 dog water parks for your specific needs: secure fencing for escape artists, "fewer dogs seen/heard" for reactive dogs, flat terrain for seniors, appropriate sizing for small dogs, or specific amenities for training. Look for "Top Spots" like Timber's 🦮 Run - Sniff - Run 🦮 with excellent reviews.Read feedback from other Timber owners with similar dog types to find your perfect match.

What are Timber's dog water park requirements?

All dogs must have basic vaccinations or titers. Each Timber host may have additional rules on their listing. Most dog water parks welcome all breeds, sizes, and temperament levels, including reactive dogs who can't safely visit public dog parks. Adult supervision is required at all times.
