4th Mesa 7 acre Private Dog Park In Bailey

Fully Fenced
7 acres

10% of profits donated to local SPCA monthly. 7 acres of fenced forest to play on including a hiking trail for the pet owners! There is a switch back trail through the middle of the property marked by tree branches/logs and pink/green flags. Further trail description below the instructions. Best way to find the trail from the gate is to either follow the fence line up to the right all the way to the top of the property or walk straight up the gulley until you see the first green flag. The green flags mark the beginning and end of each switchback. There are 29 rows of switchbacks. Between the green flags there are pink flags to guide you with branches and logs to mark the left and right of each trail. There are a few places where the trail merges which is marked by 2 yellow flags. The last (or first depending on the ascent or descent chosen) trail row has yellow flags that have been colored pink (see pictures at the very end of the collage). It is about a 4 mile round trip hike if you follow the switch backs up then down (or vice versa). For you hiking purists the switchback rows are not perfectly parallel. This was a 3 year manual effort. The more ya’ll hike it the more visible it will be.

Frequently asked questions about Vail fully fenced dog parks

Where can I find fully fenced dog parks in Vail?

Vail has 13 private fully fenced dog parks available through Sniffspot, offering secure off-leash play in completely private settings. These locations range from compact spaces to properties spanning 20+ acres. Whether you need a space for your reactive dog, puppy socialization, senior dog gentle exercise, or high-energy play, Vail fully fenced dog parks provide safe, private environments. Filter for "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, or fencing types to find your perfect match.

How many fully fenced dog parks are in Vail?

Vail offers 13 fully fenced dog parks ranging from compact spaces to properties spanning acres. You'll find diverse options: fully-fenced for escape artists, indoor climate-controlled for year-round use, swimming pools for hot days, agility courses for training, and more. Each Vail fully fenced dog park listing shows detailed photos, amenities, fencing specs, and reviews from local dog owners.

Are Vail fully fenced dog parks good for all dog types?

Yes! Vail fully fenced dog parks work for every dog: puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel safer without large breeds, high-energy dogs requiring space, and reactive or anxious dogs needing privacy. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets the environment they need. Browse Vail's 13 options to find spaces matching your dog's specific temperament and needs.

Will I encounter other dogs at Vail fully fenced dog parks?

Not a chance. Vail fully fenced dog parks operate on a strict one-booking-at-a-time system, so the space is entirely yours during your reserved slot. Host dogs are kept away, and there's a mandatory 30-minute buffer between bookings—meaning you won't cross paths with the previous or next guest. For Vail owners with reactive dogs, puppies, or any dog needing privacy, this makes all the difference in providing safe, stress-free exercise.

Are Vail fully fenced dog parks safe for fearful or anxious dogs?

Yes! Vail fully fenced dog parks provide controlled, predictable environments without the chaos of public dog parks. Since bookings are completely private with 30-minute buffers, anxious dogs can explore an enclosed outdoor space with secure perimeter fencing where dogs can play off-leash safely without overwhelming encounters. Many Vail dog owners specifically choose fully fenced dog parks for fearful dogs who need gentle, stress-free exercise environments.

Can puppies use Vail fully fenced dog parks?

Absolutely! Vail fully fenced dog parks are excellent for puppy socialization because they're private and controlled. Puppies can explore an enclosed outdoor space with secure perimeter fencing where dogs can play off-leash safely, practice recall, and build confidence without the overwhelming chaos that can create fear or reactivity in young dogs. Just ensure your puppy has age-appropriate vaccinations before visiting.

How do I choose the best fully fenced dog park in Vail?

Start by filtering Vail's 13 fully fenced dog parks for your specific needs: secure fencing for escape artists, "fewer dogs seen/heard" for reactive dogs, flat terrain for seniors, appropriate sizing for small dogs, or specific amenities for training. Look for "Top Spots" like Vail's 4th Mesa 7 acre Private Dog Park In Bailey with excellent reviews.Read feedback from other Vail owners with similar dog types to find your perfect match.

What are Vail's fully fenced dog park requirements?

All dogs must have basic vaccinations or titers. Each Vail host may have additional rules on their listing. Most fully fenced dog parks welcome all breeds, sizes, and temperament levels, including reactive dogs who can't safely visit public dog parks. Adult supervision is required at all times.
