Imperia's Canine Connection 1+ Acre Private Dog Park In Aurora

Imperia's Canine Connection 1+ Acre Private Dog Park The Spot: Over 1 acre of fully fenced (6' chain link) field area with a drive-through gate so your dogs can start running right out of the car. The surface is now packed sandy soil as the lush natural vegetation of the spring and summer dried and has been crushed down by hundreds of paw prints. A walk around the interior fence line is about 1/4 mile so it's great for the active dog owner too. It's a close-in rural location right in Aurora just two miles east of I-225 from the Sixth Ave exit. While my field area is strictly for the dogs, there are several horses in corral areas next to the dog field. My neighbor has loose chickens on his property. Neither the horses nor the chickens are bothered by dogs. Dogs may bark out of curiosity and that's totally appropriate and ok, but soon realize that with no reaction there is no need to bark. VACATION NOTICE: I will be out of town from Friday, February 23rd thru Wednesday, February 28th. My house sitter does not have the same schedule flexibility as mine to manage my Sniffsopt as I expect it to be managed for my guests, therefore the spot will not be available during those dates and my Dobermans will have full access to do what they do naturally. Sniffin' Hours are: M-F from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Sat & Sun from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm You may reserve time up to 14 days in advance. Thanks for Sniffin’ at my Spot and Happy Tails! - Jon

We've come to this spot several times. There is lots of room to run and sniff from sheep on another property to everything else in a rural area. It's easy to come in and out and it's secure.

Jim was incredibly helpful! I have 3 dogs and 1 of mine is very dog reactive so she doesn’t get out as much as I’d like. She had a blast! We will be back.

This is a great little private dog run! Plenty of room for 1 or multiple dogs. There are tables and chairs to sit and at a waterer for the animals! There’s even a shade spot for your animals to cool off in between runs! Will definitely be going back!

Really enjoyed this location, the dogs had more than enough room to roam and play in the yard. Everything was accessible and clean.

We took five relatively reactive dogs to this property and they had a BLAST our little pack got to run to their hearts content and we got to relax knowing there wouldn’t be any trouble 10/10

Very large area for running. Water available. Very nice host. Must bring your own toys, balls and frisbees. The area was clean, only thing is the area is dominantly dried straw like weed shoots - etc. Can be hard for some breeds to run across, my dog didn't seem to have issues with it.

My dog loved running and exploring the land. He tried the lure course with the owner’s dogs and he enjoyed playing with them. He loved the pool at the end to cool off.

Had a great day here today. LOTS of really nice updates to this SniffSpot since our last visit. So many I cannot name them all! Fantastic shaded area to sit and watch or take a break. Refrigerator in this area to keep your drinks cold. There is also an automatic waterer and water hose in the fenced area that is new since I was last there and it works great. This time we did not see any people, any dogs, or any farm animals. We are really impressed with all the work Jim has done to the area. It is pretty cool to see it all coming along and all these additions make a great SniffSpot even better.

The spot was great! A big area and it was set up nicely. It was our first sniff spot and I would go back often, but it was a bit further than I thought from my house. Thank you for making it available to us!

Great space! Super secure and safe for dogs to run. Water spigot on site, bags and garbage cans on site were super convenient. Definitely worth the visit, it gave our dog some much needed space to run and sniff to his hearts content.

Our dogs had the time of their lives here! Jim is a great host and maintains a very clean and safe space. We purchased the additional lure coursing options and our dogs went wild chasing the lure. We will be back! Thansk so much!

My dog and I had a great time at this Sniffspot. Plenty of room to run and sniff, with a small pool that my dog loved to flop in to cool down in between running. If your dog is noise sensitive (mine used to be very very noise sensitive), the neighbor was on his tractor for part of the 90 minutes we were there. It was loud and would’ve been a problem for my dog just a few months ago. This spot is definitely well worth the trip, just something to consider if it applies to you and your dog. Clean, fun spot and we will be back!

This is a wonderful fun and safe space to take dogs to play. Instructions were great and it is excellent to have a safe place to park and unload the dogs away from the road. Our dogs had a lot of fun and we took them there to meet our new puppy in a neutral safe environment. Highly recommend this spot!

Great option to give your dogs a break - quite a few play options with a cool lure coursing add-on. In addition, Jim was friendly, responsive, and accommodating - much appreciated!

Awesome little spot to go out to, my dogs are very much the ‘run as fast as you can for as long as you can’ play type and this was plenty of space for them to do that and they were so satisfied at the end. Very accurate description, didn’t see any other dogs from the field (only heard some barking in the distance) and there is a poop bag station to clean up so if you forget yours you don’t have to stress. Two trash cans, watering bowl and a small kiddie pool if your dog likes to get in water. The sheep in the back were actually great for my dog to get some new scents in and feel a little more enriched because she could experience a new smell and sound. Couple toys out there too for dogs to play with-tennis balls and a tug rope!
