The yard features soft, clean turf, plenty of shade, and a refreshing pool for pups who love to cool off and make a splash! And because we believe the humans deserve to be spoiled too, there’s a comfortable shaded area with tables and chairs where you can sit back, enjoy a snack, and watch your pup have the time of their life. We also provide complimentary snacks and refreshments for both pups and their people, because the little extras are what make a visit feel special. This is my personal home, kept beautifully maintained and quiet so your dogs can enjoy a peaceful, clean resort‑style yard instead of a crowded public park. I’m on site for every visit to keep things safe and comfortable for everyone. Base booking is for yard access only, which keeps the price lower for guests who don’t want to use the pool. ***If you’d like to swim, please click on the pool add‑on when booking so it’s added to your base price in advance.

JJ's Bark Park and Pool in the West Valley

A rustic, ranch terrain private 2 lot backyard with a pool, zipline (150 LB limit PLEASE), treehouse, foosball, croquet and trampoline. The fun dogs really love the trampoline. Many venture into the treehouse. Chasing a kid down the zipline is very exciting. Beware of mole holes and where dogs have dug up the yard. Again, rustic! Lots of dirt and unlevel terrain, so flip flops are for the pool area only. Wear shoes if you’re venturing into the yard, easement, treehouse, and unbuildable yard up the hill. Water bowl is by the hose. Please refill them for the next guests. Feel free to hose down the pooches if necessary. It gets hot and dusty! Some of them like drinking from the hose which is fine, just try to aim it away from dirt areas so there’s less mud baths for those crazy dogs to roll around in please. This family loves dogs, and we just lost one of our own and often board other dogs. They may be jealous and bark to let us know they want to play or they’re warning us there’s someone in “their” yard. If you don’t like barking, don’t come here. Our neighbors dogs bark too. Pending your arrival and leave time there may be other dog poop that we haven’t been able to get to or other sniffspotters missed, so just get your own doggies poop if you can catch it. Pay it forward if you notice one someone may have missed. It happens. We have a bucket and poop grabber available. Just leave it in there. We’ll take care of it. If you insist on using your own bags, please only use disposable environmentally safe ones as this area has been zoned for composters and all poop bags and poop go in the green bin in the driveway. If they aren’t the biodegradable kind, please take your poop bags with you. There is a yellow pitcher for the boy dogs who love to pee on things. IF you catch them peeing on the chairs, perhaps you could help yourself and other guests not to smell it by filling that pitcher with pool water and pouring it onto the marked territory. Thanks! You will find various remnants and maybe even newer toys strewn across the yard. They’re there to be enjoyed by all the doggies. The pool is for the dogs and you too! Bring your towels and swimsuit. Bring a friend or two, no extra charge. Safety in numbers. We want this space to be used by others at a reasonable rate financially and good time investment. So please, please clean up after yourselves, so we don’t have to hire someone to be on staff to clean up and raise the rate or shut this thing down. This includes skimming the dog fur off the top of the water, removing debris you dragged in, and reconnecting the pool sweep if you or your dogs disconnected it. Play and swim at your own risk. If you have any questions about anything, please ask. There is lots of seating to watch the pool activity if you have that lab that needs pretend they’re at the lake. Ask Alexa (in a red lantern next to the door by the tiki bar)to play whatever music you want. Picnic at the fire table or on the back deck. If ya find a table dusty, some rags and windex are at the tiki bar. If you spill something, please clean it up for the next guest. The yard is yours and yours alone for your entire visit — no other dogs sharing the space, no strangers walking up, no surprises around the corner. Just room to run, sniff, roll, explore, and decompress at your own pace. “Thank you so much for hosting us — perfect place for my German Shepherd workouts in privacy without worries about other dogs that might trigger her.” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Galina Tucked away in a quiet Burbank neighborhood, this fully fenced private backyard offers approximately 2,500 square feet of open space with a private entry, so you and your dog can come and go without crossing paths with anyone. No chemicals. Ever. 🌱 This yard is completely fertilizer-free and pesticide-free — nothing sprayed, nothing treated, ever. If your dog is a grazer, has allergies, or is sensitive to what's underfoot, they can sniff, roll, and nibble to their heart's content without you having to wonder what they're picking up. Easy to find, even easier to love: enter on the right side of the house and look for the Sniffspot sign. The gate is one of the smoothest you’ll ever use — seriously, it’s a delight. Morning visits are especially magical. The sun is gentle, the vibe is peaceful, and street parking is usually a breeze. Street sweeping is 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesdays on my side of the street and Wednesdays on the opposite side, so please check the signs when you park. One honest heads-up, because I’d rather you know before you book: our neighbors have dogs on the other side of the fence. You won’t see them, but you may hear an occasional bark. Most pups settle right in and forget all about it — and if your dog needs extra buffer, mornings tend to be the quietest. 🐕 There’s a water spigot on site to keep your pup hydrated. Just turn it on slowly so you don’t end up wetter than your dog! 💧 We also have a self-service pool on site if your pup wants to cool off! It’s not pre-filled — you’re welcome to fill it yourself (it takes about 10 minutes to fill completely). Please drain it after use and give it a quick rinse so it’s fresh for the next sniffer! Please Note: the swimming pool is for the dogs unless you are helping them in or out of the pool, or training in the shallow end . You are, of course, allowed in the pool during that time. If your pup is prone to excessive shedding or barking we would not be a good match. The best way I can describe the backyard is a mix of Grass, Dirt, and pavement. For the Human guest we have a nice seating area under a gazebo with sun shades to stay cool. Water bottles will be provided as well.

Have a little taste of the country in the big city. cute backyard with half grass half turf. A little kiddy pool for the dogs to jump into with plenty of toys. A back patio that’s covered so if it happens to rain, you can get out of the rain or get out of the sun with chairs and tables cute little garden beds, and a chicken coop in the back. Also, a fun little sprinkler had that you can turn on to let your dog play in the water.

Fully fenced backyard by Sunset Blvd in Silverlake. Close to DTLA, Hollywood, etc. Large backyard area with astroturf grass, area with mulch dirt, etc. There’s 3 levels so it’s a great place for dogs to run and jump around. Plenty of shade from trees and lounge chair seating for the pup’s humans. Please keep in mind: there are a number of stairs to get to the backyard area (see pictures!). The backyard also has levels that are not fenced and there are different types of terrain in the spot (astroturf, rocks, dirt, etc).

Digging and munching are allowed, the entire enclosure is non-toxic and free of pesticides. Plenty of comfortable shaded seating for pet parents.

Lovely grassy play area has many trees and seating. The shade from the trees in the afternoon is lovely. We are the longest running SS in the area- hosting doggies since 2020! The Sniffspot play area is from driveway to rear of property. A row of chairs semi-blocks Hosts area of backyard belongings, but it is not a problem for doggoes or hoomans to temporarily go there to sniff, pee and fetch balls. The drought, popularity & watering restrictions do affect the condition of the grass. The rest of the yard is not accessible to Sniffspot including using the bathroom. Fenced backyard area is along side street. Most of the 4-foot fence side street side is covered with privacy slats & landscaping. The chain-link driveway entrance only has privacy slats. You would be the only guest for your booked time. Please securely latch & rechain gate when arriving & departing. Refer to photos.
