I have a one acre- fully fenced in yard. There are plenty places to to dig, trees to sniff and often some cows to bark at or even deer on occasion. I have a a water source for drinking for the dog and access to hoses if you would like to bring water activities. I do have a dog, but will be inside the entire time - probably sleeping. Whatever dog toys that are outside are free reign, help yourself!

Yards this large are rare in Austin! It backs up to a creek which adds some nice smells and sights for your pups :) The yard is fully fenced, with a latch on the gate to keep your pups secure. There is a spacious deck with an umbrella, a fan, and a plenty of seating. There is also a large pond for the water loving dogs but it is not fully secure. I have a new fence that is completely secure -- my two curious chihuahua mixes are capable of finding any holes or openings no matter how small, so rest assured that your dogs will stay safe inside once the gate is closed. The fence is 6 feet high, so your dogs won't be able to see into neighbors' yards or the road, although they may get glimpses of my dogs through the sliding glass doors into my home. There are LOTS of smells to sniff, places to explore, and trees to pee on. I have automatic solar-powered string lights throughout the backyard, so if you want to come by after dark, your visit will still be completely illuminated.
